i tried cm7 beta2 and i'm unable to connect to my wifi network. It shows the network and I enter my wpa password, but it is unable to resolve an ip address

Just a tmp fix, but works quite well.

Go to Market, install Gingerbread Launcher from Steven Lin and use that instead of ADW, then appreciate a great CM7 rom!

and TBH, this is the first time I realised that stock 2.3 launcher can be as smooth as LP!

touchscreen just gone unresponsive after playing a game though, but hey it's still a great rom considering this is only beta 2.

Stagefright is enabled by default, no need to add the libs :D Actually, in 2.2 (and over) Stagefright replaces OpenCore except if you tell the system to use opencore instead of SF.

Do a system format (mounts and storage > format system) and then flash this image... only then it worked for me...

Not sure if it affects font but that the correct resolution anyway so there should be no side affects.

Actually i'm trying to make my Gingerbread Keyboard's font smaller (i'm on JJRLS9 at the moment and it's normal but I like the smaller CM6/7 version more) so that's why I asked. Changing the qemu.sf.lcd_density=240 to 220 makes the whole UI smaller so no luck with that.

By the way is there any possibility to enable overclocking on these versions of CM? If such thing happens it would be the greatest ROM!

I selected to wipe system but maybe format system works different? Will try that next...

Yep do that, looks like the new formatting system introduced in CM7's script does not work properly... I got back a barely working CM6-CM7 mix after flashing without a system format :P

Angry Birds works ever so fast when moved back to phone storage (crashed when installed in sdcard).

After swapping over adw with 2.3 stock launcher, fixing keyboard size and power button, I might be repeating myself but this rom is simply fantastic!

yeah i got them working too, dont know if its rite but you push the libs from flb, but am not sure which one is it because i replace all of them lol, can you name it so that i should just replace that one

Edit : got button lights and brightness working too but not sure which lib is it , i took the libs from fln r8 /system/lib/hw/

how can you replace adw with stock launcher?? is it in the gapps.zip??

i didnt rename it and its still working
