Yeah thanks found it now. How come my phone wont let me change the values in the screen column? Am i missing a setting somewhere?

One of the numbers won't go as low as suggested (at least on my phone) - if you try to set it as low as the suggested 15 it reverts back to 35. 20 is as low as it can go. Also, this only fixes the light sensor for auto brightness.

It does nothing for the proximity sensor causing the screen to stay off after a call.

Temporary fix for the problem: just before the caller hangs up, start pushing the power button fastly, you push it about 10 times and the screen comes back (not too elegant solution, but works for me)

Wow

First getting CM to work that fast is great

Getting it approved as official port is just awesome.

Thanks to all, by name Tom G and Jacob and everybody else - A Big thanks to all

One question : Can I flash the official nightly (when it's here) with my old clockwork (1.5.....) or do i have to update to 3.... ?

You have to update, the new Edify (updater-script) has some more arguments and options (like formatting the main NAND partitions to a different file system, like Ext3, this one would be a good experience though, maybe I will try it).

I actually could use this as my daily rom...think I will have to for now. Used cmod6 on my desire and was great.

Yeah, it is awesome. As soon as you can hang up calls I'm going to use it as a daily rom.

Interesting, CM7 has just gone RC. Could be interesting that our Blades are getting such a far-along version. :D

It won't be for a long time. There are still many bugs in the ZTE port that need addressing first.

I'm just saying we're hopping on at a good point.

Just wondering, Flib, are you have battery life troubles? Mine went down 20% overnight with wifi and data off. I've tried all the suggestions in the thread to help. It just..isn't helping.

Is it the fact we're still using a dev build really?

Lot of us has the bug after 4-5 secs during a call and no fixes still..

Nope. I think there was some confusion between a light sensor fix and the proximity sensor earlier in the thread.

There were none, the light sensor was the problem. Not only the proximity sensor is being used when it switches the screen off, but the light sensor too, and there is some bug with it (not with the levels) that make the sensor sluggish slow. You can test it. So, main problem, light sensor won't set the "full light" signal to the system and such it won't wake the screen. It was a bigger problem with the wrong sets of values, but now, a few-sec call will cause it to go crazy - maybe something shuts down the calls of the sensor wrong?

List of applications that I've had to move back to phone... if anyone can give me instructions on how to produce a logcat I will generate whatever debugging info I can...

Adobe Reader (used for bus/train timetables)

Andy-86 (calculator, Ti-86 emulator)

Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons

Ataroid Lite (Atari VCS 2600 emulator)

Droid800 (Atari 800 emulator)

Frodo C64 (Commodore 64 emulator)

Marvin (ZX Spectrum emulator)

Opera Mini

Tiger Genesis (Sega Megadrive/Genesis emulator)

Still got 31mb free in phone storage so not yet an issue.

Cheers again to everyone for all their work on this.

Better to use the DDMS viewer, it can filter, and has great coloring :D

I am on japanese jellyfish RLS9 partition, and cm7 fits on this partition, giving plenty of room for apps on internal memory.

Has anyone tried adding

mot.proximity.delay=150

to build.prop?
