Guest rjm2k Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Alright, this is getting wierd...I got this thread mixed up with the official one... Shouldn't this thread be locked now that we've got official CM? Yeah pretty strange they chose to lock the cm7 thread with download and issue reporting info instead of this. One

Guest natash Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 What is the difference between ROMs presented below? update-cm-7.0.0-RC1-Blade-signed.zip cyanogen_blade-ota-cm7-beta4.1.zip
Guest Frankish Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 We got a nightly? Downloading it right now. Strange naming. cm_blade_full-1.zip.
Guest fonix232 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 We got a nightly? Downloading it right now. Strange naming. cm_blade_full-1.zip. Yea, usual CM nightly name is: cm_[device name]_full-[nightly number].zip So it will increase, it just shows it is the first nightly.

Ahh the old Desire nightlies were named with date in them too. That's why it looks strange. EDIT: I wonder what has changed if anything... Edited February 19, 2011 by Frankish
Guest fonix232 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Ahh the old Desire nightlies were named with date in them too. That's why it looks strange. That's the old system, this new came in last October if I recall it right. Or at least around that.
Guest Frankish Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 I'm reluctant to flash it unless somethign like the proximity sensor has been fixed. RC1 is pretty damn good for me.
Guest grmn Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) I suppose the nightlies can be flashed without wiping anything? Edited February 19, 2011 by grmn
Guest fonix232 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 I suppose the nightlies can be flashed without wiping anything? Probably yes, but it is always advised to wipe, as you may not know what framework changes came.
Guest Victor von Zeppelin Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Well, if you take a peek at the github for our ROM, you'll see the overclock module was added yesterday, so this might be in there...
Guest Rotmann Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 I wonder what has changed if anything... Camera focus should be fixed and SIP should route the sound to the speaker. Btw. it's plain retarded that the CM7 topic got closed, the first post should have been modified with the bugs and a link to the bug tracker, and maybe some n00bs warnings. Could someone post the link to the nightly?
Guest leetron1 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Well, if you take a peek at the github for our ROM, you'll see the overclock module was added yesterday, so this might be in there... Hi..can you kindly post a link for the github, please?
Guest Totyasrác Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) Since CM7 topic is closed I'll post here: Even though I'm using Just Shake Free I had to take out the battery twice today after (short) phone calls. Now this is a show stopper for me. I'll give a shot at the Nighly one but probably will switch back to FLB if this issue keeps appearing :D Edit: can't seem to find "cm_blade_full-1.zip" or "Blade CM7 nightly" anywhere... So will get back to FLB for now :D Edited February 19, 2011 by Totyasrác
Guest MacGyver2k Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) http://mirror.teamdouche.net/?device=blade just flashed it over RC1 without wiping. No WLAN/GSM anymore :D Overclocking working, nothing else checked. Doing a Wipe now :D :edit: Still no working GSM/WLAN after a full wipe, guess i stick with the RC1 for now :) Edited February 19, 2011 by MacGyver2k
Guest Totyasrác Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 just flashed it over RC1 without wiping. No WLAN/GSM anymore :D Overclocking working, nothing else checked. Cheers, will test it right away :D

On the CM forums there's no movement :D Did you also set the screen not to switch off during a call?
Guest Totyasrác Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Did you also set the screen not to switch off during a call? Nope - should I have?!
Guest Rotmann Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Nope - should I have?! It may help with the screen remaining blank, because the screen stays on during a call, you have to press menu to get the call menu.
Guest Frankish Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 So no working RIL in this nightly?
Guest Totyasrác Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 It may help with the screen remaining blank, because the screen stays on during a call, you have to press menu to get the call menu. I've disabled the in-call-menu though but not sure (yet) how to keep display on during call.
Guest leetron1 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) No APNs? :D EDIT Seems no RIL working..thanks Frankish!!! (Not quite the support network we're used to at Modaco) Edited February 19, 2011 by leetron1
Guest Rotmann Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 I've disabled the in-call-menu though but not sure (yet) how to keep display on during call. In settings-call settings there is an option "leave screen on" (or something like that, I have it in german). Also disable "always use proximity sensor". Did you follow the guide exactly like this? -ticked just shake enabled. -unticked "Notification Bar Icon" -ticked "Enable when screen is off" -and set "shake sensitivity" to 14%
Guest grmn Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Also dont have any connectivity with the nightly build. :D
