- Desktop scrolling without LWP is laggy

- Headset buttons don't work

Some of the ones I consider major atm.

Ok yeah desktop scrolling...easy fix turn off wallpaper hack.

Headset buttons...it's a massive chore to reach for your phone? :D

Volume controls not changing a song not major at all.

Hmm no volume control when screen is off? Think this must just be a keylayout file small fix.

I got all ril files :D

Directly from the CM extract script, checked three times :D

I wyped and installed the rom and your fix 3 times, but the RiL doesn't works

- Try to badword read and disable that damn Wallpaper hack! It was told SOOOOO many times!

- Interesting, for me, works perfectly. Calls, PowerAMP, all can detect it.

- Maybe the qwerty.kl keyboard layout descriptor got something wrong or IDK. Not major, definitely not.

- For me, works. Although I don't use the built-in music player.

Stop being a jerk, if you don't like it, don't use it, such simple. Moaning does not help, if you know better do it yourself and release!

Okay, now I have no guess at all, I'm going to try it now (kanged together my usual pack with included theme, removed stuffs, included TransProxy and BlackMarket, etc).

I did say these are what I consider major. Not necessarily for anyone else.

Wallpaper hack? I assume that's ADW. Currently on LauncherPro so i'll check it out.

Yes reaching for the phone is difficult when riding a bike and illegal when driving a car.

The vol controls changing song not too major but would be handy for headphones with no buttons.

Massively good point :D

Launcher Pro should run just fine with no hacks etc.

I believe the touchscreen freeze was still present on the build labelled RC1. I've had it a few times. Any idea if the new overclockable kernel is based on one without the freeze?

For me, the most major issue is that my alarm clock force crashes sometimes. I'm very happy and thankful with the work done on the ROM though , just suggesting the naming of it as a RC1 is a little off.

There are still a few people on this forum who need to at least change their tone though. There's constructive criticism, and then there's just being rude.

Launcher Pro should run just fine with no hacks etc.
It does run fine for me, but not as smoothly as, say, JJ9. The main screen is faster with a live wallpaper for some reason, and the scrolling in the app drawer is slower than JJ9. There is some issue there still. Edited by Ashenfall

Just disabled wallpaper hack in ADW and it's like butter.

LauncherPro is kinda jerky unless a Live Wallpaper is running, then it's fine.

Stock Gingerbread launcher is also like butter which it didn't in 2.2

Strange. I'll fiddle with some settings.

EDIT: using a transition effect on LauncherPro greatly reduces the lag, how odd.

Hmm, found only one missing file (what wasn't mentioned at all in the extract scripts or I slipped over it), libdsm.so. But it only makes light sensor work :S

Seems like I was wrong, libdsm.so is needed for RIL. Uploading fixed version in a minute!

Got volume controls working for vol up and vol down.

Long press vol controls changes song also.

I changed vol_up and vol_down to WAKE_DROPPED opposed to NONE.

I knew it would be!

What last few fixes there is only volume afaik?

You should explain this in the bug tracker and that will be 1 fix down good work.

That's cool, I was just making sure there wasn't any extras. All added to my thread now.

As a little advert... come to my CM7 thread everyone, should be a bit more managed and manageable than this 70 page-r...

Umm... I was wondering.

There's no Taskmanager. ._. I mean the main task manager that you have.

Overall... CynogenMod is awesome.

On Android, you do not need TaskManager.
