Same here with gps...

I got the same GPS issue.

Phone reboots after run some navi. softwares for 30 seconds.

But it works fine on google map.

I tried Naviking (a chinese software).

This software works fine on official build.

First off, let me say thank you to everyone who takes the time to help those of us who have questions or experience problems. I went from 1.61 to 1.70 tonight without a hitch... or so it seemed until I got "System UIDs Inconsistent" and suggests I wipe the data partition or the phone will be unstable. I have cleared caches and reset permissions with the same error continuing to occur. Any suggestions short of wiping the data partition and starting fresh?

Same problem. I went back to official 322 build, factory reset, upgrade to 1.7.0. Still have the lock-up on menu press on lockscreen issue (which is not present on any other build). Menu-unlock was disabled and uninstalled before the upgrade.

So does everyone have this problem or is it sporadic?

I've just moved from 1.5.1 to 1.7.

What an improvement - even SetCPU performs in a much more stable way and doodle jump is smooth as silk - the first time since I got my streak.

One gribe is with the Tab mail client - I use btinternet (which uses yahoo), and even though I got notifications that I'd received emails, when I opened up the tab client nothing was listed.

I was gutted! It looks effing brilliant.

I've installed the yahoo mail client in the interim (which is actually pretty good), but I wonder if anyone else has experience a similar issue with the tab email client?

I find with GPS, it occasionally loses 3g if I try and use directions on google maps. Then i have to go back to settings disable and enable data. might have to do this a few times. Eventually it works.

Anyone else?

Kind of defeats the purpose of a lockscreen don't you think.

Thank Steve the 1.6.1. is so good I don't really need to upgrade.

I just ignored it..restarted n everything is fine till now

+1 You're not alone, there seems to be an issue that affects some mail providers but not others, I can't see any email from my POP3 O2 account but can from my own domain email. Interesting.

It's pretty odd. A Googling seemed to confirm that people using the Tab itself are having some issues, so it seems definitely software related and nothing to do with the ROM.

Shame as it looks good and its split screen display is the sort of thing the Streak is crying out for.

I'm def having some network bugs with 1.7.0. Specifically with switching between WiFi and 3g and back. Seems one or the other will work, depending on mood. Clearing dalvik seemed to help briefly. What I did notice however, was that they both actually work, just DNS resolution doesn't. i.e. When one or the other isn't "working", I can always ping something via IP, but that's it. I don't know how android does DNS (obviously not resolv.conf) so I don't know if maybe it's getting stuck with the wrong resolvers when switching or what. Anyway, hope that helps. Can anyone tell me how to view/verify/(edit?) DNS info? I'll just bumble through till an update or go back to 1.6.1 maybe. ROM looks pretty cool otherwise.

Yeah same.. Just ignored it and all is well. Didn't downgrade though, stayed on 1.7.0

Finally - I was begining to wonder if my streak is screwed after 1.7.0 upgrade - am back on 1.6.1 - hopefully the next upgrade will resolve this as I hate the slide lock screen and was used to using menu unlock !

I cant understand why people just dont read the posts, most problems I have encountered with Steve's builds have been resolved just by reading. Yes this means reading every entry and learning about our wonderful tablet and DJ Steves great builds.

Been running great on 1.7.0, but today, after swapping simcards the phone keeps rebooting randomly. At one point it was every minute...

Reflashed 1.7.0, still the same.

Any ideas?

He/she probably uses menu to unlock. On a side note I have not had any lockups while using menuunlock app, and use it almost exclusively. People should try to hard reset if they have bunch of problems. I use nandroid before every upgrade so if there is a problem I just roll it back.

I was able to get menu to unlock to work by flashing back to 1.5.1 fact. Reset. then 1.6.1 then 1.7.0. I then installed menu to unlock and it is working without any problems.

First off Thanks for all the work that goes into this... appreciate it.

Took my 1.6 original to 1.7.0 a few days ago..... Learned a ton in the process. Had a few issues, and even figured out what the cause was myself. Decided to give 1.6.1 a try and have been running that for a few days. I am having issues with phone FC right after a call.... No idea on that one, but am going to go back to 1.7.0 again tonight. What I was hoping someone could help me understand was this....

I made a Nandroid backup of my original - It appears it slammed it into the clockwork recovery folder on my sd card. I wanted to grab an apk out of the backup but there are a few IMG files in the folder. I cant mount them with magic disk, 7-zip, or WinRar. Is this the location of my nandroid backup, and how do i get into the IMG files?

Secondly if I wanted to add a few APK's to the 1.7.0 zip file and have them install automatically, what folder do I place them in? Can I just throw it into update-1.7.0.zip\system\app\
