Guest marcozambi Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 It asks you on first boot what google applications you want to install Well, I selected it as first thing, and the app was in "Applications" menu in Settings, but the icon was not visible in the App drawer. What I mean is that since the Market selects and let you see only the apps supported by your phone, for some reason Car Home seems unsupported by this rom. Nothing major, just curious to understand. And by the way, koudelka, are you still trying to be included in official Cyanogen portings? Are they helping you? I am an Android developer (apps, not kernel) and I wonder if there's some way to help the cause :D

Guest DasTisu Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 -5% in 8,5h idle in 2G with sync.
Guest nguetto Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 is the problem only with wpa/wpa2? if not i previously solved reflashing the complete bin before flashing 1.2.6 It was not with wpa/wpa2 only. I found a way to fix it. I didn't flash the comple bin. I flashed with the first CM7-RC1-Liquid-kang_v1.2.18_FULL.zip and add the pacth for a2sd. Now wifi is working just fine :-) Anyway thanks for your advice.

Guest Liquidator Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 I have a very weird bug in the last version: ringtones start playing from the earpiece speaker, instead of the phone speaker... so I dont hear them ,and miss calls/messages. Anyone else with this problem, or suggestions for a fix? It is solved after a reboot but returns after some time :-(

Guest monoxide.tryst Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 (edited) Flashed the new rom from my backup of previous cm7.......... I retract my previous statement of "wtf guys" thanks for the quick update and fix koudelka ^^ edit: Not getting text msg notifications, and when someone calls me it rings on their end and then goes to voicemail, while i receive nothing, as in not ringtone, or missed call notification, or anything. Like the failed call never happened, any ideas guys??? Edited February 20, 2011 by monoxide.tryst
Guest sanjaymotwani Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Hi I have a problem with my acer liquid microphone. Its gain is too low after installing this firmware. Please if you have any fix do let me know? well thanks for the rom really liked it so far. Please do tell me the fix Thanks Sunny
Guest Liquidator Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 go into cyanogenmodsettings - sound and enable "always play on speaker" for notification, ring tones and alarms. Hope that helps :D According to the menu itself those settings are just for when headphones are plugged in. And then I don't want the phone to ring over the phone speaker... Is there a fix for Bluetooth on the way? I love this ROM but I hate risking traffic fines every time I make a phone call in the car :-)
Guest MBK6 Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Are there any installations guide somewhere? - Which version of the Acer rom should I install? - Which tools should i use, and where do I find them? I did manage to install CM6 before christmas, but there was a step-by-step guide :D
Guest Koki1337 Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 I have to admit, I've been using this for more than 36 hours and I only charged once! Running at stock 768MHz, runs very stable and I can restore all apps from Titanium Backup all the way back with T&L ROM. Some apps go funky and FCs, but as stated, moving to internal storage fixes it :D Also a total of 209MB of internal storage... Man I still have 85.7MB free though I only left those with widgets on the internal storage. It works great, battery life is awesome, WiFi connection is stable and fast. I gotta say, most of the thing works perfectly!
