Guest barmyman Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Anyone know how to hack the volume on the liquid? The sound is just too low install patch which you can find in the first post
Guest Splux Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Okey... Now this is just pissing me of, big time. I just deleted all music on my phone, and added some new stuff. So, why the fuc* does Android musicplayer keep showing my new stuff I just transfered AND the old stuff that's deleted? And since I patched ed2 with audiopatch it felt to copy all my music, and show everything at leat twice. And it does not recognize artist name, song name nor album name. So, anyone, what is going on? everything was working PERFECTLY before I flashed the audiopatch... Going back to original Acer rom untill this crap is fixed, wanna be able to listen to music tomorrow on my way to school and from school.
Guest the red blue blur Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 your problem doesnd demand on audiopatch actually... audiopatch - is only "drivers", soooo... ***mod edit comments deleted*** Please stay polite in the forum, no need for rudeness *****
Guest the red blue blur Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 or simply use other music player, kid.
Guest Splux Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 or simply use other music player, kid. I am no stupid enough to reflash everything before I have tried another music player, and it did not work. Every music player I have tried so far with this ROM cannot find information about the songs, so it orders everything from the folders they I put them in. ---- Reflashing ROM did not work either, still doesn't find info about songs... Anyone (except for "the red blue blur", not in the moodh for more obvious things to try...) got an idea on how to solve this?
Guest o2mike Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 There is a file somewhere that stores all indicated media files. If you delete it, the system will rescan all sources for media files and rebuild that file. I forgot the files name but try searching the web for "media files", "android" and you should stumble upon the solution pretty fast. No need for bad temper.
Guest sexbob Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 how to switch the app in the dock bar? i intend to switck browser for sms. thanks

Guest The Duke of Hazard Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 Thanks. But I just cannot find anything :D And sorry for that, but I was just a bit pissed yesterday when I wrote it. Oh well did you piss in your pants yesterday? That explains why you were angry... however, try to explain beetter your problem. Forr example, do you find your mp3 in the sd card with es file èxplorer or with root explorer? I had a similar problem when my sd was getting corrupted. Maybe your files are corrupted, or they are not in the music folder.this could give problems for the default music player. Which file format do you want to play? Try to play it with the file explorer and see if it works. And don't attack THE BLUR. HE IS GOD.
Guest Viotti Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 For all of you having trouble with the proximity sensor - try enabling "Always use proximity sensor" in the call settings. I ticked it a couple of days ago and since then I haven't had any problems with black screens after call! Hope it helps. I also have to promote elgubbo's GUI for a2sd. Latest version is flawless on top of this ROM and with LowMem settings on strict my phone is faster than ever. Big thanks to all developers. Can't wait until next release!

This seems to be the killer tip of the year! Thx! Have to evaluate a little more to be sure, but first results are positive! update: Never mind, I cheered too early. Don't think it fixes the proximity bug. Edited March 15, 2011 by MrVanes

Sometimes things don't want to go the way I want everything to go... Anyway, Normal .mp3 songs that works flawless if I use original Acer-rom, something happened when I flashed the audio/screen patch. On some albums it finds the album name, but it cannot read the mp3 information. Music player finds the mp3's, albumcover art and album name, sometimes. Only sometimes. When I restart the phone it starts to read some files twice which results in several versions of the same song. And of some reason one of my albums got splitted in to 3 different albums. I have checked the labels on the .mp3 files and everything is as it should. And just to make it clear, it works fine when I reflash the acer .bin, it is when I flash CM7 it starts acting weird. In CM6, MIUI and the Sense ports it works fine. Conclusion: something is wrong with this ROM for me. And flashing ED3 of this CM7 didn't help it either, and if I remember right the first version of CM7 worked fine. I have tried to delete all songs, and copy them from my laptops HDD to phone's SD-card again. Tried several times. What else I have done... Uhm... Searched on google, but did not find anything that helped.

Yes, i use to the lowmem-strict valur (thanks ThePasto for explain'e that) and it's prety perfect value for liquid A1... more smooth when type on ketboard.. and other case to ;-) i use this value of lowmem than 3 weeks now. i not use any apk, directly on terminal emulator... type "su " then type "a2sd lowmem-strict " every reboot you must type on terminal emulator... it's not resist reboot, but to try it' s better. Guest HustlinDaily Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 Thanks for the memory settings tip. Was searching around for help with that. So glad I switched back to this ROM. Now that Bluetooth is fixed, it is almost (lacking only tethering) perfect. Don't really think I care about RC2 because this one is already fricking smooth.
Guest Delnar_Ersike Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 (edited) For memory settings, I suggest you set the autokiller parameters manually. There's an app that lets you do it in a nice GUI called Autokiller Memory Optimizer, and as an added bonus, it lets you kill services and processes as well (though when an app has both, it can take a couple kill>reload>kill>reload cycles). I usually keep the Foreground/Visible/Server at the default 6/8/16 and the Hidden/Provider/Empty at 48/64/80, but you should probably experiment to see what settings suit you best. I don't recommend anyone, save the inexperienced, use presets, as these usually either set Hidden/Provider/Empty all low or all high; though it's recommended to have the latter two high, allowing background applications to continue running will usually speed up application launches (for example, having Market running in the background might take up an extra 2.5 MB, but it will take 5 seconds instead of 15 to load the next time you launch it). Guest Thmz159 Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 The camcoder is working with Videocam Illusion! Then it should be fairly easy to make it work with normal camera app, isn't it? :D

I think that liquid dead (rom speacking ) is near... ,) haha I like your optimism :( Anyway i think i'm talking for roggin and koud too, WE ARE STILL ALIVE :D ATM we are trying to solve some problems we have with new sensors lib (written by our genius roggin), and we want to solve them before release next version. New rom RC2 is already in testing, so some guys (i want to thank them again) are helping us to found bugs. P.S I would like to remind all of you, liquid is an elcair device with 2.6.29 kernel.. it doesn't have froyo official support, you're running Gingerbread.. Thanks :(
