There is no reason to disable prox in 2.3.2, works fine..

no such file or directory said me an ADB.. removed default one.

changed permissoins for proximity from 0640 to 0000 in unventd.salsa.rc in ramdisk.

you are right, i made a typo. It should be gralloc.qsd8k.so

Koudelka I have tested the two rom. In the "old sensor" the proximity sensor does not work, while in the "new sensor" the proximity sensor works in reverse, ie when approaching the phone to your ear, the screen turns on and when you go away, the screen off. Of course I did all the individual wipe, including the last wipe (wipe all). Why ?

Basically, I don't like prox sensor feature at all :)

In each rom (even acer stock or based) I disable that sensor.

yesterday, so I flashed, the stable version with the new sensors, I leave this. I push, now the patch that you want to try. Spelt know here, or, ThePasto, what changes (ThePasto for ease of language). made to me know if you need any specific test.

I fastly report what i see yesterday with the first patch of koud on the stable cm7.

morning, no patch new sensor. Widfet activate on home: facebook, fancy, twitter. Alway data 3g on. 4 hours - 60% batery down.

Yesterday night, exactly same situation, only with patch ... 4 hours, 31% battery down ;-)

This morning i push proxymity patch.

I had it on idle last night after full charge (without reboot after charging). 7h40 min = 10% battery with 3g and sync on, gtalk and google latitude running (recived 23 emails, and latitude made 8 location updates during the night)

I tryed the original cm7 rc 1 by kang and i love it.

Now i tried the last build by kautella, all work perfetly, i made a full wipe 2 times and reflash the rom but the home button won't work.

Has anyone my same problem?

And have you any idea about how to solve it?

Can't seem to disable haptic feedback.. It's unchecked in Settings->Sound and unchecked Haptic Feedback main in CyanogenMod settings->Input->Haptic feedback tweaks

I think prox sensor is disabled by default, which is what I want xD

Koud, your last build has an incredible battery life O_O Really amazed about this *_*

Everything working great (except from camera, but you can use videocam illusion (thanks dr chase)) :)

thanks, actually already knew this program, I had tried on miui, but it only worked if I had wifi on and do not ask me why :)

Now I try again, maybe it works on this rom, I will keep you updated! :)

Strange thing, it seems to me that since I've switched to ADW launcher EX in koud's last build, I have a faster battery drain =O

I was wrong, it's not the home launcher.. I think it's the themechoser app. I performed a reboot, if I change theme without rebooting it seems to drains more battery.. I'll make some tests :)

download and push it to device using adb.

adb remount

adb shell rm /system/lib/hw/gralloc.salsa.so

adb reboot

I did this and after testing it for a day, it's been 24h and I have 35% left
