[RECOVERY] : ClockworkMod Recovery for ZTE Racer

hey,

my device is the

telstra smart touch t3020 bought in australia

clockwork mod works fine BUT just to let everybody else know:

the key mapping is slightly different than stated in the mod

volume up and down works as expected but select doesnt work via the home key

to select use volume up and down until it suddenly says "back menu button enabled", that happens usually when you're at the first item in the menu and go one higher so it jumps to the last or vice versa (go to the last, one lower so it jumps to the first)

after you've done that, you can now select with the POWER BUTTON on the top of your phone!

havent found that information here so far, so if it helps somebody, you are welcome. if that bit of information is here already somewhere, i'm sorry but you are still welcome.

Also have an Aussie t3020. Had same problem with home key but after doing what you suggested works okay. Thanks

TO ALL Telstra T3020 USERS info needed so that Sebastian can maybe change the keymapping on CWM......

If you go into the advances menu theres a key test function, can you use that and post the values its reporting for all the physical keys on the device? thx

the numbers in your example were completely right:

green/call button 231

end call 107

vol+115

vol- 114

power button 142

On malshenzu.com they made recovery 5.0.2.3 Chinese Version very new and good can you sebastian do that:D

I have Zte Racer (gen2) currently 2.3.7. nightly 254# 4pda team

My phone is working excellent,no bags

I just wanted to ask you why CWM Recovey 5.0.2.7 in Rom Manager

does't boot/work?

Can you create CWM Recovery for gen 2 fully working

i have upgraded my Racer true tpt upgrade(Brazil 2.2.2)

im trying to install it using adb but when I get into the bootloader I get an error on windows saying my device isn't reconised and when I do adb devices my devices doesn't come up.

I have install all the drivers and I don't know why its not working

im trying to do it in adb fastboot but when I do "adb reboot bootloader" and it reboots into the bootloader I get a notification on windows saying that my device is not reconised

when I do "adb devices" my device doesn't come up and when I do "fastboot devices" nothing comes up.

I am using ZTE racer
