I don't have much trust in Acer at this point :P oh i would put more trust in acer;) acer said we get eclair ...we got eclair acer said we get froyo we got froyo so acer is better then other manufactures like sony or htc with hero;)
Guest xaueious Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 (edited) This is good news if true. We can backport some of the nice fixes in our custom kernel that is the basis for our AOSP ROMs too. I am still using modified stock ROMs for my Liquid E until we get to a point where the custom ones can match the stock modified ROMs for performance and features. Edited February 8, 2011 by xaueious

Guest koudelka Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 (edited) Why old? Release date of this sources 2011/02/08. Its pretty fresh :P oh, this was recently added :D not when they posted the link -edit- I have done a fast check of the sources, and it is nothing major new really. Mostly it is just the new wifi and rndist driver for wifi/usb tethering. I don't think it will be too difficult to include their changes into our sources Edited February 9, 2011 by koudelka
Guest mstation Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 no updates for the touchscreen, maybe also a fix for multitouch working well?
