Guest Djolle Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 OMG! Maybe now I can flash new kernel (0.3.1) for my gt540 running 2.1... Thanx :P
Guest despotovski01 Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 whats the use of this? Clockwork Recovery is a recovery tool for your phone. When it's flashed, you can boot into recovery and perform backups on your whole system (I mean everything that's on your phone), restore to previous-made backups, you can erase dalvik cache, wipe user data/factory reset, and much more.

Guest fishears Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 (edited) Just be aware that 3.0.0.5 was built for CyanogenMod7 (Gingerbread), not Froyo so some update.zip files for Froyo will not work with 3.0.0.5 due to changes in the update-script support... Apart from it being a nice orange colour, there really is no advantage to this version for Froyo users. Edited February 9, 2011 by fishears
