Guest Jamie :) Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 They would fix it even if you would do it via KDZ Updater, just lie to them, they have no way to check which method u used :D Im just waiting on a confirmation email to say that they will repair it LOL And the best part is :D IM ON THREE and I gave away my previous 3G phone , and now I have to go to Orange on my trusty Spiro :) LOL
Guest Ernoke Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 i think battery level isnt displayed accurately with openswift 1.3, at least my phone switched off twice at nights although it showed ~50% battery before and no background sync was enabled. has any of you experienced similar issue?
Guest Carbonize Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 The battery level indication has always been weird in these mods.

Bricking = You cant turn it on, Its complete dead, you can press anything you want it wont react also Computer cant find it anymore since its off. It was semi bricked then , it came on and wouldn't do ANYTHING apart from download mode which wouldn't work for me with KDZ Updater untill I tried one European rom , and then the standard charging whilst phone off screen came on , but the phone kept on crashing at the android loading screen , and then fastboot worked so its back in action

Guest despotovski01 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 whats this microfon fix and whats this phone.apk? The microphone fix is a fix for the in-call microphone. There was a bug with the microphone, and that is the fix.
Guest Dr.Alani Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 How do you guys feel about the 1.4b ROM?? I think the battery life is better but the measurement of the battery level is not accurate. Other things are getting better. Thanks to Mur4ik after all. Its been a wonderful job. That said, I think the CM7 is a bit slow. I am having some trouble with the Facebook app..it forceclosed few times.

Yes, the battery now lasts longer, but the battery percentage isn't accurate for me either.
Guest mixlis Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 im using it for 2 days now its pretty smooth but it crashed once better than 2.2 thought which used to crash almost every hour mmm.. 2.3 for optimus. is this faster than the official 2.1 ?
Guest Dr.Alani Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 mmm.. 2.3 for optimus. is this faster than the official 2.1 ? No. Well, not yet at least. But it gives you native app2sd and much more control over your phone and there are some apps that need 2.3 to work.
Guest Ernoke Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 mmm.. 2.3 for optimus. is this faster than the official 2.1 ? its way faster than official 2.1 for me. (i never installed 2.2)
Guest Dr.Alani Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 its way faster than official 2.1 for me. (i never installed 2.2) I am having some trouble with the 2.3.2 by Mur4ik. The problem is when I close an application like K-9 Mail or Facebook or whatever, it takes about 20 seconds to reload the android home screen. During that time I get only the wallpaper and I have to wait to load the shortcuts and widgets. Another symptom is when I move from an application to another without closing the first one, and then I go back to the first one through long press on home button, I find the application restarting. For example if I am at the opera browser and I press home and open K-9 mail or a notebook app, and then long-press the home button and choose opera I find the page gone and it says loading, just like starting the app all over again. This happens with all apps not only the browser. Is this because the memory is simply not enough so the phone kills everything not currently active? or is it a bug in the OS that needs to be looked into?

Your phone kills your launcher, that's your problem. I've never had such a problem. Reboot your phone to refresh your memory.
