Yes Im new with all of this thingy so im a noob.. my first question is What is ROM??? How to install ROM for my Phone? What is flash or flashing?? How do you do it?? If i install the new ROM i liked how to un install it if I decided to go back to the default setting? my phone is samsung i920 by verizon and I am using windows 7 ultimate Thank you!!! Guest awarner Posted February 15, 2011 Report Share Posted February 15, 2011 Best thing is to read the topics in the Omnia 2 section of the site to learn about different ROM features. Ok so a ROM is the core piece of the operating system that makes the phone work and look as it does. Installing a ROM I would suggest you do not think about it until you have read about the different ROms and techniques as not following instructions correctly could end with you killing your phone. Flashing is the same as installing a ROM, it's just another term that people use. installing a new ROM will change the way it looks and feels depending on the ROM you used, once installed that's it there is no going back unless you find the ROM you previously had on the phone, you can not just uninstall it as it unfortunately does not work that way.
