Guest selectro Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 it works well! usb mass storage operating at 100% with this http://www.multiupload.com/TLENMTLQW6 tested A1 lcr (app2sd ok)
Guest fear_factory84 Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 would like to ask what is the difference of the 921 file from fear_factory64 and the original 921?? im using LCRF 2.0 so is everything else the same as the original one like mt fix? also since i flashed original 998 already, do i just flash fearfactory's 998 on top or do i need to do something else? thanks for your response :D Yes, it's the same kernel binary, only repacked with lcrf 2.0 ramdisk and scripts. All credits to work go to malez, ritchen and all the devs that make alive our community :D
Guest selectro Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) hei! test quadrant....lcr 2.0+OC 998 kernel.....1178!!!!!!without quadrant patch!!! Edited February 18, 2011 by selectro
Guest IareBaboon Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 I'd like to ask if someone can compile a kernel with 998oc but without noxwell patch. Thanks in advance I'd like to second this. The OC (from fear_factory) is working really great. It's made my phone a lot snappier, and for some odd reason, the battery drain is actually pretty good using the 921mhz OC. However, the screen goes crazy every once in awhile, as in it "presses" things on the screen on its own. So if I'm surfing the web, it "presses" different links, goes back a page, etc etc. It happens quite often too. I think it might be the MT fix. So if you can, could you remove the MT fix? I'm sure that for many the multitouch fix has helped, but for me, it just doesn't want to work right. Even after lowering sensitivity.
Guest Edward.W Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 guys, usb mass storage is not working after i flashed this OC patch on LCR-F 2.0 does it work on other custom rom? Also works on MetalFroyo ROM2.75
Guest devkon Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 hi fear_factory84 please you can find a tun.ko module load correctly in this kernel? this should be amazing, im triing to turn on openvpn and hamachi but i really need this module if you can help me. thanks bye
Guest HustlinDaily Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 guys, usb mass storage is not working after i flashed this OC patch on LCR-F 2.0 does it work on other custom rom? Did you flash fear_factory one? I flashed fear_factory 998MHz on LCR 2.0 and USB Mass Storage works fine for me.
Guest HIN_____ Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 Did you flash fear_factory one? I flashed fear_factory 998MHz on LCR 2.0 and USB Mass Storage works fine for me. is it lcrf20-ritchen-998.zip ? i flashed this one, but it just can't turn the USB Mass Storage... strange.. i can actually see the "turn on USB storage" page, but not able to "turn it on" anybody have the same issue? OMFG....!

OMFG....! I flashed both rithchen's 921mhz OC and fear_factory's 921mhz LCRF2.0 OC and USB Mass Storage works perfectly fine. I have LCRF2.0 also. Maybe you should go down to the 960mhz or 921mhz OC. Not that much of a difference in performance I think.
Guest max2rock Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 Hi everything is fine with lcr 2 and 921oc from fearfactory everything is working.thanks a lot for dat if u hav time could u make a 960mhz oc

Guest HustlinDaily Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 Hmm I don't know. Create a Nandroid and test by re-flashing LCR and then flashing the custom kernel. It seems like you are the only person having this problem (which makes it very weird).
Guest Small_Hacker Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 old apps2sd not works!!!!!!!!!!!!

I experienced the same problem, this kernel resets touchscreen sensitivity to max (20/50 if i remember right), just set it to a higher value (I used lcr settings), I set it to 50/75 and now it's working great! Actually you're right. 50/75 works perfect so far :D I only went up to as high (or low..) as 40/(X) here so never tried 50/75. Doesnt seem to happen anymore. Thanks :D Strange how it happens though. Feels like I've been hacked lol EDIT: Nevermind, 50/75 didn't work. So now I brought it up to 75/75. Hasn't messed up... yet. Edited February 19, 2011 by IareBaboon
Guest Ego.C Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 i got a infinite reboot after flash it....... :D i had make a nandroid backup before do that, but it cannot work after restore i tried to wipe all and do the same thing but did not work i flash the LCR 2.0 again and this kernel, it works perfect! :) but lost all data.... can anyone could help me? :D please

Guest ondris Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Tested the 921 mhz patch: High battery drain but not so much more performant.
Guest HIN_____ Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 guys, i found the problem of usb mass storage on LCR-F 2.0 was cause by the "swapper2" application and usb things is fully working after i unchecked the "Safe Unmount" in settings of "swapper2" btw, it still kind of lag compare with "OC 960" on LCR-E 1.8.2.2 is it the problem of A1 has only 256mb of ram?
Guest Peshkoff Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 any plan for various governor? smartass for example?
