[Q] CM 6.1 - Modaco version

CM 6.1 is Froyo?

Is it possible to take one of our solid Froyo ROMs and bolting/splicing/hacking in the CyangogenMOD bits?

I know we're all excited about CM7 and nightlies etc but I just wanted to know.

It could be quite some time before we have a REALLY perfect CM7 and as CM have been working on Froyo for so long they might find it a peice of cake to slipstream their bits into our ROM?

It will take longer than CM7 to complete, I'm afraid. CM6 is as different to the Froyo on our Blades as Gingerbread is. This is due to it being based on AOSP, and not the hacks ZTE employed for various reasons.

Also, CM6 is android 2.2.1

and our roms are all on 2.2/2.1
