Guest rrr2 Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 I have entered a password. Is there a way to revert it to factory default? Without password set at all? Mobile tracker is now disabled so I can access the configuration but it will only allow replacing one password with another, not clearing it.
Guest free-lexx Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 I also cannot reset my password. But even at the service center could not do it. On one site I read that this program and the password is stored in a special area of memory, do not change when flashing. I am not expert in this, but maybe it is possible to reset the password by Riff Box, or by using some utility for brute force password. Guru, please, help us!

Sorry but no. Even after a complete flash of all four parts, password would not change. Maybe if you mark "Erase NV PDA" option. Only this is NOT recommended as it will erase other data you do not wish to erase.
Guest 1sokel Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 You CAN NOT RESET mobile tracker password only replace it with other when is in switch off mode no mater if you do a hard reset-format your phone-flash with other ROM and the reason is simple is in different location and only SAMSUNG have the tool's to reset it the only other way is to replace omnia 2 motherboard with a New One

After I had a brand new mobile tracker. Just enter any 4 digit code code and voila. Edited May 13, 2011 by skoda60
