How to root the Beta 2 release?

First of, I wannabe use this possibility to thank the developers and all other guys who did there part for bringing android to the i8k.

What I coud'nt find yet though is how to root android to use more advanced tools like set could and root explorer. An other user has allready pointed me (very polite;)) to the search option, sadly the search option does'nt seem to search for anything.

2.)

The systemtime in android seems to be off by one hour. Correcting this makes the Tim in am differ by one hour likewise

Had a problem with turnado1979 solution after all, so I just aplied z4root on a new install. Now I have root with proberly installed superuser.
