I think I've found the (almost) perfect third party charger

I have also found a perfect charger for SF. Previously I bought a nokia charger but while charging it caused the touchscreen freeze. I changed the nokia one with a genuine samsung charger. this charger is for samsung galaxy. it has definetely the same voltage and current values. 5.0 Volt- 0.7 Amper. it costed me about 12 euros.

However, normal USB chargers do not have the data lines shorted. The Blade will assume a standard USB connection then and charge more slowly - guessing from the charging time it seems to draw about 350mA then.

I think that's just chargers designed for IPhones & other Apple products. Any other phone charger with usb or microusb & 700mA or more should be fine.

I use a 1000mA charger from an HTC Desire without any problem.

These guys sell USB chargers on eBay, I like the fact that the charger has a standard USB socket to which you can attach a Micro USB cable, and use it to charge other USB items. 5V 1000ma (1 Amp). I actually bought the two pin Euro version, but they sell tiny UK versions too. Thankfully gone are the days of bigish chargers, these babies are the same size as the mains wall plug.

As with all things, your mileage may vary.
