Flashing with OCTANS - select PDA file is incorrect - what to do?

Hiya, i've tried to google this, with almost no effect, so there's post.

I've omnia 2 with following versions info:

PDA: I8000NXXJD1

CSC: I8000EURJD4

Phone: as PDA

Windows: 23103.5.3.3

I want to check some custom ROM's (to check Titanium and other extensions) and i've problem with OCTANS - with every rom i try i'm getting 'select PDA file is incorrected 4' - and there's no detect button.

I think that i'm doin' all right - downloaded "ock_TitaniumPremium_29005 (FMradio fixed)" - after EXEcutor there is eboot.nb0 and pda.bin - i'm trying to open this eboot by PDA button in OCTANS and i'm getting alert mentioned before.

What's wrong? What more info do you need to help me? (i've tried on W7 and on XP on VMWare - flashing from russian ROM to one i'm using now went ok)

And second question - maybe, to try Titanium or other extensions - i don't need to flash rom?

thats not a omnia 2 rom. go to the rom section on this forum to find roms

Thanks a lot, that explains almost all my problems :huh:

Still don't know when VMWare will capture Omnia or when it'll not detect this but, it's just a minor annoyance :)

Now i'm downloading Cookie rom from MS Team... Well i suppose asking what ROM is the best is not a good idea, i've to check them all? :P

there isnt a rom that is best, you have to look for a rom that you want.
