Did a fresh install of R10 but as happened with previous flavours you couldn't send an MMS with data turned off. On 2.1 and indeed on any non android phone i have owned in the past when sending an MMS data normally fires up for the duration of sending the photo.

Its not a biggy i guess and the ROM itself seemed great with no wifi issues but its back to 2.1 for me until the mms thing is resolved.

That is normal behavior since Froyo.

What version of clockwork are you using?

3.0.0.6 that was downloading using rom manager when I CM7 installed

r10b: for me wi-fi is ok (wpa connection) :)

Loading smart dialer in clean cache - user data: initially no problem, after using Car Home comes an error: The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly.

Also after rebooting (without using Car Home) the error still persist.

I don't know why because the user data and cache were clean. :huh:

I'm having problem with the market at the moment. I just flashed from r9b to r10b. I can connect to the market fine with Wi-Fi but not with 3G. Any ideas? Everything else seems to be working perfectly.

Any ideas on this? Maybe I should clear the cache?

Going to try and get it fixed as apparently this issue has been in previous versions which I haven't noticed.

when somebody call to me i dont see name only number (of course i have this person in my contact list), when i call is the same situation. do you have solution??

There was an issue with an earlier rom R6 that had these symptoms but that is long gone.

If you check your applications you should have:

Contacts

Contacts Storage

Contacts Sync Adapter

If you are missing the Contacts Storage then this "appears" (to me at least) to be the issue.

If you do have it then try clearing the data and cache from the contacts and contacts storage apps then re-sync with google.

Can someone tell how do I disable "Favorites" from Dialer/ Contacts? This is, contacts keep adding themselves to Favorites, how do I prevent this from happening?

thanks for help your solution was correct :huh: now i know why i had this situation, i upgrade on froyo from 2.1 stock PLAY android and i used titanium backup so probably this was my problem

15% down in 3 hours with no calling, no texts, everything turned off! :huh:

"And like a sinner before the gates of heaven I come crawling home back to you"..... Using CyanogenMod is like a constant uphill battle at the moment. I miss the days of beautiful vanilla stability.... The sleep animation is cool though... Ill miss that...

Ahhem ANYWAY! One thing I will ask though, is there any scope for porting over the new music app used in CM7? It's really much nicer than the 2.2 stock, only subtle changes but nice ones. Dunno how doable this is?

After the screen has been off for a minute or so, try pressing one of the buttons along the bottom (home menu or back). If the screen comes on then your phone isn't sleeping due to some app you have on it.

Have you installed the extras pack? The one that includes google maps?

huh no I didn't, I thought it was included like in the previous versions

This is bad, one more reboot is now needed after each update
