that would only be possible if someone made the apps independent from the htc framework i think

That's not possible. The Sense framework is totally linked, everything reaches back to it. It lives in symbiosis with the main framework, totally cross-connected and cross-linked, then everything Sense related links back to the Sense mainframe. Like Contacts and account management, all done in Sense, and it is how the whole system shares info.

Which means it's probably "easier" to port a Sense rom than try to port Sense framework and apps. Of course none if it is really easy.

The HTC G2 (Vision) just got a Gingerbread Sense port. Using the same files hecatae pointed too. I know it's basically a Desire Z but still cool news.
