Guest UTOPY Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 Hello and thank you for your work. Problem phone reboot after installing random. Thank you for your reply. Edit I solved the problem by formatting my card with A2SD be found in menu GUI applications. I then spent my applications on the SD card and the cache. initiation of the swap and more problems. It's cool
Guest AntonioPT Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 If you phone reboots while trying to install something from the market, please give me a logcat so I can see what is going on. In the meantime, you can start using DT A2SD. Your problem will be solved.
Guest jonnybird Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 Very nice Rom Antonio :( Bom trabalho

And another question; in which menu i find SetCPU to reduce overcloccking ? Thank's so much for your fine work ! (..and sorry to my english :( ) P.S: With the CM6.1-Pulse0.40 version 0.30 / 0.32 , the problem of reboot ( when install from the market) don't exist. Edited March 9, 2011 by Filos69
Guest totiadrenalin Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 This is a ROM based on Tom G's CyanogenMod 0.40, with most of twrock's f0.3.2 fixes and with some tweaks and additions of my own. This can be considered an "evolution" of twrock's Basic ROM. ....... Changelog: ......... v0.9 (2011-03-08) - Built on top of Tom G's 0.40 ROM: [*]691MHz kernel with totiadrenalin's lowmem numbers; [*]Tweaked build.prop settings; [*]New OpenGL ES lib (65537); [*]Front buttons no longer wake the device (thanks twrock); [*]Added libsurfaceflinger_client.so to fix some video players; [*]Updated Superuser (apk and su); [*]Updated OI File Manager; [*]Added SoundRecorder fix; [*]Removed CMWallpapers; [*]Added TouchPal keyboard; [*]Improved update script; [*]Removed unnecessary scripts and files; [*]Added patched Camera.apk (thanks anegin), fixing the FC upon multiple 3mp shots; [*]Android Scribble boot animation instead of CM's; [*]Changed GPS NTP server to Europe (faster GPS fix); [*]Added sysctl settings to improve performance; [*]Added anti-DroidDream file; [*]Included Blade Wifi Fix and Wifi Status; [*]Gapps are fully updated as of release day; [*]DT A2SD 2.5.7.2-1 with anegin's A2SD GUI. .... .......... And especially the camera fix will make me to try your work AntonioTP! :( I'm Using Heavy tweaked by me 2.1 UK. But the original UI. :( And you won't belive me if I tell you that I get 28.3FPS in neocore with this rom! Overclocked of corse! The Fible's 691MHZ kernel But I will try your rom! :)
Guest totiadrenalin Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) I have the same problem. When installing from market, phone reboot in random mode (not always). I have U8230 too ..... can to be this the problem ?? delete the market data! You will solve the problem in seconds! If that doesn't work, perform FIX PERMISSIONS from the Rom Manager. Guest ganker Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 emergency assistance when installing the application throws the phone reset i did 3 things to solve that on my phone with this rom. (good rom btw) 1 ) run the a2sd gui and move cache to sd card 2) disable cyanogenmod a2sd setting for save apps to sd card. (should be off pr. default but thats what i did here) 3) run romanager -> fix permissions reboot now i can install without reboots :( experiment it could just be step 3 that solves the problem

Good job. The room is functioning perfectly and with the framework of the toti. It only remains to put the density to 140 Sorry for the bad english
Guest rulerofkaos Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 Think its possible to get wifi tether working? I need it or else gonna have to get a 3g equiped IPAD 2 :( I would try, but I can't unpack the system image from this Rom where the Wifi teather is working http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...6-1-0-40-based/ So if anybody knows how to...

Guest AntonioPT Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) restarts when overclocking. Try to set SetСPU and reduce the maximum acceleration to 633 question about firmware: DroidWall to this firmware works fine? To use droidwall, you must flash my custom kernel: http://www.mediafire.com/?ati4doahrmh4l3f It is overclocked to 710MHz, so you may have to use SetCPU (http://www.mediafire.com/?0d55mhv53hx8f5t) to decrease the max cpu frequency. Think its possible to get wifi tether working? I need it or else gonna have to get a 3g equiped IPAD 2 :D Use "Barnacle Wifi Tether" from the market. Then open settings and check "Skip wpa_supplicant". Then you can share your connection with your new ipad ;) I will possibly include it in the next version of the rom. And especially the camera fix will make me to try your work AntonioTP! :( I'm Using Heavy tweaked by me 2.1 UK. That is very good! How is the speed compared with CM6 ROMs? You have just tempted me to go back to 2.1 ;) Edited March 9, 2011 by AntonioPT

I says its working but I've checked it with my wifi pc, laptop, ps3, wifes phone nothing detects it.
Guest PulseBreaker Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 (edited) If you phone reboots while trying to install something from the market, please give me a logcat so I can see what is going on. In the meantime, you can start using DT A2SD. Your problem will be solved. I have the same problem -> Log is attached to this posting. It was done on a U8230 when trying to install SetCPU.apk via OI File Manager. It also reboots when I try to install anything from the Market. Interestingly, I also had this bug on twrock's 3.2f ROM and its predecessor -> it always seemed to be related to GAPPS. Why do I think that? Because I used to modify twrock's GAPPS zip by throwing out stuff I don't need and replacing some apps with smaller versions from Cyanogenmod's MDIP tiny GAPPS zip for the HTC Magic (same screen resolution as the Pulse/U8320) -> with my modified GAPPS, the rebooting bug was *not* present. Oh, and I always stay away from DT's A2SD, so this wasn't flashed. Aside from the problem, this ROM looks to be excellent. Great Work on all the updates and fixes, AntonioPT. Also, special thanks to anegin for fixing the dreaded bug in the camera app, I didn't think we would ever get rid of it :(logfile.txt Edited March 10, 2011 by PulseBreaker

Guest jimmie32 Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Related to the APK installing problem: Installing the ROM only first, then booting, installing an APK (like setcpu), it should work, and then go back to clockworkmod and install Gapps. Solves the problem for me. Most likely related to the Gapps doing something to the installing system. If I don't go through the above procedure, installing Gapps directly then going through an APK (no market) would fail, too.

Guest megadiva Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 To use droidwall, you must flash my custom kernel with this kernel phone cyclically reboots. My machine runs stably only at 691 MHz. with any core overclocked to 710 MHz phone will not boot
Guest Sl4yer Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 I had the reboot problem when installing apps. Doing a2sd reinstall from Terminal Emulator has sorted it out. :(
