Yes, a lot of people confirmed that if you tick in Settings-Call settings "Always use proximity" and leave "In call touch UI" unticked, and RESTART, it works. I have tried it a lot of times now, it works very reliable

Ooh, that might be my problem1 I'm running on only 3 out of 5 calls working but I do still have 'in call touch ui ticked' I'll try unticking it. :D

RE bluetooth not reconnecting to car radio - it worked this morning - seems a bit intermittent - I've found a firmware update for the car radio which I will apply before raising an issue. It might not be CM7's fault.

Despite working a couple of days ago - mine let me down whilst out and about this morning. Using experIt's kinda intermittent - which isn't fixed. :( I think other people have commented that it fails after the phone has had a prolonged uptime. That seemed to be the case with me too. Rebooting every hour isn't very convenient. :(

This was using Bl1nks kernel on RC2. Patiently awaiting t0mm13b's second experimental kernel. :D

Not fixed - prolonged uptime brings the bug back, although briefly putting a thumb or finger over the sensor brings the screen back.But there's still something wrong here.

Been back on CM7 since Thursday (using nightly 17 atm).

I left my phone on sleep from 11.30pm last night till 7.30am this morning & I noticed I had no battery drain..

11.30 pm 46%

7.30 am still at 46% :D

Well, I, otoh, left my phone with 19% at midnight and it didn't wake me up at 7:30 because

it was DEAD as a duck, absolutely drained down to 0%.

Absolutely, when I installed N15 I encountered the same thing, 100% at night, 100% when

I woke up, the battery monitor showed just a nice black area with no activity at all, but this

was the only time, every other night it just does "something" during the night, the battery

stats show more or less activity for a longer period (with the display off, of course).

So watch it, and when it continues to not drain for you, please tell us your secret :D

I've done nothing special to the ROM lol. All I done was installed N17 over RC2, I added no experimental kernels!!

In the past the most I loss during the night was 18%.

Just installed N17 from MDC2.2 R12. Really impressed with the extra features so far.

Only had it for about an hour now and everyhting seems to be working with no bugs (yet).

Only slight issue is that when selecting the applications button it takes a while (few tenths of a sec) to pop up - on 2.2 it used to be very smooth almost instant.

Lockscreen slider won't appear for me nor does the lockscreen sounds.

Flashed toms first update.zip onto nightly17.

Had some funny soft reboot issues which I think was down to titanium backup.

Is CMParts working flawless through reboots for everyone ?

Tons and tons. For Blade specific parts just Tom G and Jacob. Jacobs just a kid so he has school and you know...a life :D

Not sure about Tom G but i'm pretty sure he has a full time day job to do too.

2.3 isn't as perfectly tuned and responsive as 2.2.......yet!!

Installed this this morning, sync'd contacts but they dont show unless i do a search type in a name then click show all contacts they appear, any ideas? Thanks.

Try to clear the cache of the contacts app, did you wipe/format system? Did you restore some Titanium Backup system apps?

Good news about the battery life, I have been using another kernel from Tom_G with the serial console turned off and guess what, idle battery life is surely as good as FroYo if not better, I've been running this for 9 hours, this drains close to nothing when it idles. Sounds good though. Although i am happy with how it is at the moment other than sick of screen freeze. During pro evo i can deal with it but not fruit ninja! :@

Just checked my battery stats again since its been 4 hours since I woke up this morning & my battery has gone down to 36%, anyway to loss only 10% in 12 hours is still pretty good going!! :D

With the rumours of things to be sorted in future updates.. things look promising!!

How are things right now? I'm still on N8 because the proximity was driving my crazy.

By looking at https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_devi...its/gingerbread seems like not much has improved ever since.
