Since I got my Omnia II GT i8000L (Bell phone but not mine at that time) and had it unlocked for Rogers/Fido (have both sims), all incoming SMS messages have the timestamp off by -4/5hrs, outgoing is fine. When DST kicks in is where the 1hr difference comes in. Anyone else seen this? Is there a fix? I've not seen anything besides the 2016 related fixes which relates to the date being wrong, not the time. I've been looking for a very long time.

I know of one other phone, belonging to a friend, having the same issue.

Rogers has had this issue forever. I am surprised that you see it in Onterio though. Here in BC it always seemed to to be that SMS was time stamped in Eastern Time (-3 hours).

On HTC devices the fix was easy:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\PhoneSetting]

"TrustTimeZoneField"=dword:0

But the "OEM" key does not exist on my Omnia though, so I don't think you can create it to fix the issue, but it may give you a good starting place to look.

I am on Bell, not Rogers anymore, so I don't have the issue.

Well, its a step in the right direction. Gives me a direction to look in. Thanks.

BTW - My phone is one of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic edition phones.

Works great! Thanks again. This has been a pain for a long time now.
