Guest JackG
Try calibrating your battery, basically, Charge the device fully, then Drain it till it wont turn on no more then plug in the charger while holding the home button to get into Clockwork, then go to advanced and then wipe battery stats, reboot your device, then charge fully for around 16 hours, this should help slightly. Guest Dr.Alani
try to charge the battery until it is full. then, reconnect it to the charger until it says charged. keep doing this for an hour or so. afterwards, boot into recovery an for an option to erase battery stats. this might help. give my greetings 2 marlboroabyadh sweesry. lool

Guest fdespotovski
It's the ROM that drains the battery. So calibrating will help but not too much.
Guest vine87
Agree with fdespotovski about the roms draining the battery. I tried joe.stones clean android and the battery life is better and does not drop to 85% as soon as you unplug it. It drops to 90% for me after about 45 minutes of use. But, and I say but, I have noticed that the battery drops from 50% to 20% without going through 40-30 on joe.stones. Lets face it though people the gt540 isn't super expensive so you get what you pay for; that said its a brilliant phone and I love it. :D

Deleted my batterystats.bin which is in sdcard/data/system (only for rooted phones) My battery lasts much longer as the phone generated a new batterystats.bin now, and believe me, my phone died after a few hours...now he lasts a few days....
