Incompatible Blade "Generations" - Gen1 & Gen2

Touch screen sometimes stops to respond after switching on/off. Removing battery solves the problem...

Does the touchscreen problem occur with the stock ROM or with a custom ROM (if custom, then which ROM)?

See several other threads on this topic. (Not stock, but all current custom - even happens with Swedish Spring - newest ZTE files presumably.)

Consistent for specific phones, but not all "B10" phones.

Dialler codes do not show a touchscreen difference.

Certainly not a Pigfish Gen1/Gen2 issue.

But may indicate some subtle hardware difference.

I recall the after-sleep touchscreen freeze problem with the 2.2 leak roms. There might be a connection.

Is it possible that ZTE introduced a bug in the later drivers for some hardware and 'fixed' it with a kernel/boot tweak? (That tweak being missing on custom-compiled kernels...)
