For some reason I've had 40% battery drain in about 2 and a half hours. The main culprit is system processes within that being mediaserver. Anybody know what this mediaserver is and more's to the point how to stop it running at 98% ALL the time ?.

I tried downloading and running Rom Manager from the market as well, but under ‘Flash ClockworkMod Recovery it states I must have it already installed to flash and restore roms, but when I click on this (as I’m assuming it’s to download the latest version of recovery) it always has an error whilst downloading, as I’m currently in China, and I’m assuming it has been blocked (as happens when you d/load Twitter or Facebook from the Market here)

Any answers, primarily to if it can be updated from 10b to 11 with 2.5.1.8 would be much appreciated.

I have updated from 9b to 11 with old version of Clockwork - worked fine.

I also have same problem when trying to get ROM manager working.

Anyone had any issues with the portable wifi hotspot in r11? cant seem to switch mine on any more (just says error), was fine in r10, did a wipe of cache, all data before updating?

Yes, I have the same problem. Is it beacuse 3G and WIFI cannot run at the same time?

If that is the case then it defeats my purpose completely since i keep 3G turned ON on my blade and keep the phone near window (for better speeds) and then using wifi hotspot connect my laptop to phone for net surfing. I hope a fix comes soon.

wifi hot spot fails for me - I don't know where to look for error logs - running r11 flashed over 9b (have never used it so don't know if it worked in 9b).

Works great so far. Wiped everything for this badboy, and then did the patch for removing the pull-down notification bar widgets, but now my clock in the notification bar is black and so is my theme. :L

What shall I do to change it? I used to know how to do it for the Pulse but can't remember. D:

If you open the ROM zip with WinZip and go to the folder system/app now select any apps that you want to remove.

Right click the selected apps and select Delete.

Now simply close the zip file and try to flash - WinZip should save the modified zip file correctly this way.

Creating a new zip archive rather than modifying the original has never worked for me.

I agree that works fine. I was also wondering if I could add an app provided the total volume did not increase. Should that work?

I tried it and the added app did not appear to be loaded.

Doesn't seem to work for me either. Using stock dialer - [Oled and 3.2 M camera]

Flash the notification patch before you flash a theme. I'll add this to the first page too.
