Good afternoon guys... well I have run into a brick wall and am just throwing my hands in the air with the GPS on my newly flashed Samsung Omnia II. It was working fine with 6.1, but now I can't get any signal with 6.5.

I've tried all the registry hacks, installed cab files and everything else I have read here on the forum to get a signal to no avail. So I went back and uninstalled and deleted all the cab files and uninstalled Google Maps to get back to zero and then did a hard reset, so now I have nothing.

My phone info...

PDA: I8000NXXJJ1

CSC: I8000PROJJ1

Phone: I8000LWIIJ1

I hope that someone can help me!! Thank guys for all your input ahead of time and excuse a newbie for opening a new post. Like I said, I looked all over and haven't been able to get anywhere with it. Thanks!!

Ok guys, dunno what to tell ya.... I browsed all over the net and found all I needed to be able to install Garmin XT to my Omnia and since I live in Costa Rica I also loaded those maps... At first I could only get the satellites to lock on to me with the Garmin XT but then after a little while I tried using Google Maps again and finally got a lock....

I will mention that the satellite signal is not really strong, but it's there, enough to function, so if anyone has any ideas on what I can still do to improve my signal quality I am all ears...

Thanks guys!!
