Guest ZTE_Blade Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Anyone else use Swype as their keyboard? If I switch my phone off (N84 + libaudio.so fix) or reboot, swyping doesn't work, though the keyboard still works for individual keypresses. I have to go through the process to generate a new licence. As Swype is beta, I'll report it there, but I'm fairly sure I didn't have this in JJ9 or SS5. Is it likely to be putting the licence file somewhere that gets wiped during boot? Are you using a swype theme? At any rate, uninstall it and reinstall it again from scratch; works for me
Guest Simono Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 (edited) I allways forgot to write there is small problem with BT. I use N84+libaudio.so and my BT car don't connect to phone if I not to tap on phone to connect (sometimes it self connect but rarely not). Edited June 2, 2011 by Simono
Guest supermies123 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Get ready for a perfect rom, guys! Tom_G has just submitted a patch for the proximity sensor, together with another one for camera. I wouldn't say perfect rom as some people have still experienced GPS reboots with N85 + libaudio. It's rare, but happens i think...
Guest tomasvilda Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Get ready for a perfect rom, guys! Tom_G has just submitted a patch for the proximity sensor, together with another one for camera. Oh nice, it's sad that I'm not at home and can't build CM with these two patches to test. Maybe someone that has access to build machine could do that? :D
Guest Vasily Mulukov Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Confirm, Swype works 100% without any issues. Well, the only issue I have is relatively poor Russian dictionary in it :-)

Guest TheDOC1 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 How can i download those patches and install them with N85?You can cherry-pick them with the commands provided in the links into the source tree and then rebuild the image.
Guest Celtic67 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Confirm, Swype works 100% without any issues. Well, the only issue I have is relatively poor Russian dictionary in it :-) I'll try uninstalling it completely & reinstalling. I don't use any themes. Looks like it's just random luck as to whether it works. I might try N85 as well, though didn't see any fixes in there that should affect it. The US dictionary drives me mad. I had it on my Symbian with a UK dictionary, but the Android beta doesn't give me that option. Every time I install a new ROM I have to teach the stupid thing how to spell again! One for the Swype beta forums, I guess.
Guest tcpaulh Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Install the full version. It has uk dictionary.

Guest bhf Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 For the bajillionst time: the cyanogen server had a HDD crash. Maybe you noticed that none of the supported devices got a nightly build later than May 25th.

Quickly tested, proximity sensor working perfectly with or without auto-brightness as expected. :-) Thanks for this one. EDIT: just noticed that the wifi disconnected himself with sleep policy set to never, due to the new driver I presume ? Edited June 2, 2011 by CaptainSpectacular
