Guest sej7278 Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 I stopped using nightly builds when started self building, as it causes less strain on cyanogenmod servers and you get to see what specific change have been merged yes i think i'll stick to that (might even figure out how to merge gapps in) although at the moment i can't repo sync due to some problem with github.com

I'm watching http://review.cyanogenmod.com for blade specific fixes
Guest emc02 Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 First boot after flash hung though, had to drop the battery and then it booted OK (yes I wipe) I did no full wipe and it hangs on first boot after flash on my blade too, but thats no problem ;-) I use N92 without GPS fix and its working fine, no reboots!

Same here - n92 + GPS_fix - only wiped cache/dalvik - and it hung at green android first boot after flash. But after I popped out the battery it worked fine. GPS and everything else seems flawless so far.
Guest _amano Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 (edited) http://review.cyanogenmod.com/5895 This patch should bring back the correct pinch zooming for the photo gallery. Maybe somebody with a gerrit code review account (burstlam?, Grain?) can compile the patch and see if that brings back the usual behaviour for the Blade. If you added a comment on there it would bring back the patch to the first page of the open merge candidates again. Edited June 6, 2011 by _amano

Have not tested, because just sold my blade 2B5A80088291076613FE96F609DB5E49 update-cm-7.1.0-RC0-Blade-KANG-signed-20110606.zip

I did full wipe and with the rom I also installed gapps and gps fix. Zoom in gallery works great.
Guest k0zmic Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 Pinch zoom works for me again using that build. That reminds me, did anyone see the iOS 5 Preview? It took quite a few cues from Android, namely notifications, OTA's, Cloud syncing e.g. Contacts. I have to say some of it did look very polished though.
Guest Hingy Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 Thanks Tomas. I have just grabbed the apk file from your ROM and the pinch works again.

It is really interesting!! I can also apply the GPS fix I guess, and add gapps, so this should be a complete ROM kitchen!

Guest Amphoras Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 Do I have to flash libaudio.so to fix battery drain same like in n72? No, please at least look at the patches listed on the first page. That was merged several days ago.
Guest outime Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 (edited) Just installed N93 and seems that WiFi has some issues related with stability (it shutdowns every 15-20 seconds and reconnects again, which makes impossible to use it well). Have this already been reported? I haven't tested N88 but Cyanogenmod Green V3.1 (CM7-based) has the same issue for me. Edited June 6, 2011 by outime

That's a known bug which has appeared in recent nightlies, so can't be reported (although the devs are aware of the issue). Set a dhcp lease time & it should work.

I will try in a while and tell if it works. However, this could work at home but not outside, although it's ok as quick fix for now...
Guest strumluff Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 Can anyone tell me if it is possible to set up a proxy with authentication so you can connect to corporate wifi with CM7? If so, how?! It's been bugging me for a while and I can't find an answer anywhere. Many thanks!

Hey, this worked for me, thank you!! Whatever, using infinite dhcp lease times will make your wifi unstable, so actually is a bug.
