Guest The_Duck Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) Was up late I slept in Today, was working till early this morning. I'll try harder next week... ;) Hahaha.. well as long as you have a good excuse :-) I too will be up managing a change tonight and getting to bed around 5 am, so little chance of me beating you to announcing N102 being out ! Guest WildeRNS Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 anyone still seeing notification LED stuck on? i haven't seen this for ages, but just got a couple of missed calls/voicemail notifications and my back LED was stuck on green all night, nuked the battery by 10% http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issues/detail?id=3700 oh and we're going to be at RC1 soon: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,6120 I have this too ;)
Guest mELIANTE Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 I have this too ;) It has always been there. If you don't touch the phone until the blinking stops it will go away when awaken, but if you awake the phone while the light is blinking it will remain on until the next notification.
Guest Migun Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) You can try using app Delayed Lock with BT plugin to have phone unlocked where connected to your. BT in car. You need an app to keep your phone awake for bluetooth to work (like a wifi keepalive app) Even then, I can't hear any audio through my car, i can make calls fine, but the sound comes from the earpiece on my phone & i just get clicks over the car radio ... so not much use. Thanks ;) ! Tried 3 ROM's the past night, they all had the same problem, and I could swear that I did not have this problem in the past roms. The thing is, sometimes the phone makes the call, but 90% of the time it does not . Edited June 14, 2011 by Migun
Guest Vasily Mulukov Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 It has always been there. If you don't touch the phone until the blinking stops it will go away when awaken, but if you awake the phone while the light is blinking it will remain on until the next notification. the notification LED stacks if you had a notification while wifi keep alive application running. Later on when phone sleeps (with such app disabled since it will prevent phone from sleeping), the notification LED will be ON. Personally I use free app LED tester from market to switch the light off
Guest _amano Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) I wonder, how long it will take to get the FM radio officially in: Some parts don't even have one review for the most current patch: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,6049 Here is just Tom_G's "+" to wait for other reviews to be added: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,6054 Burstlam, Grain, Flibblesan, can you have a look at the patch? The libaudio part is probably the hottest candidate to be merged, having a "+" from Burstlam and Tom_G: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,6061 This should have been already merged, or is this blocked on another patch?: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,6090 Even HCDR.Jacob's "+" is there. This is the one that is heavily discussed: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,6102 If all those patches made it, this would be the final patch to enable the radio: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,6050 Edited June 14, 2011 by _amano
Guest jurrasstoil Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 If you see random reboots that are not related to GPS, please see the wiki section about reporting bugs. The problem occurs randomly, so i'll be recording a massive log with logviewer then i guess...
Guest burstlam Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) Build on latest CM source, merged with update libaudio patch(http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,6061) set from TomG and with Fm app add on the auto seek channel function http://hotfile.com/dl/120900797/2327419/up...signed.zip.html md5 : 5d61225aafce271d999db9a2e99a6f88 known issue : 1. touchscreen lockup with using the joggle band tuning button on main screen. (have to go back to home screen to unlock it.) 2. Auto-seek channel goes crazy if Regional Band set to some place else other than North America Edited June 14, 2011 by burstlam

Guest marcodassi Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) This is really good: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#change,6063 Add a "No wallpaper" wallpaper option. ... On Nexus One (OLED) this "no wallpaper" produces 45mA current saving compared to the "CM Earth" image wallpaper when display is set to max brightness, and 20mA saving on low brightness. Waiting for 102 anxiously ;) edit: yes, I know I can load a black wallpaper to do the same, btw it's nice to have it straight in the ROM :P Edited June 14, 2011 by marcodassi
Guest targetbsp Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Personally I use free app LED tester from market to switch the light off Good tip! Thanks. I've been trying to get tasker to clear my LED with no success so this will do me!

Guest targetbsp Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 or briefly connect / disconnect the USB charger... ;) That's what I do now. It's not convenient if you're out and about though!!

I can confirm that the auto-seek buttons do not work with the Austrian frequency band. I hope that at least basic FM capabilities make it until RC 0. It doesn't have to be totally bugfree and the auto-seeking stuff isn't a must either. Edited June 14, 2011 by _amano

You can use whatever static wallpaper you like on the Blade (black or white) and the power consumption will be the same. Our power usage is more about how bright you set the back light. Unless you happen to have one of the older OLED Blades of course :D Edited June 14, 2011 by ThrashMan
Guest Ciels Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Has the lib audio fixes been implemented? skype working yet?
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 Unless you happen to have one of the older OLED Blades of course ;) Heh heh heh... Personally, I think Cm7 has been "done" for quite a long time. I'm not really updating as "keenly" as I used to. Now I just wait for the "big builds". Which is a bit sad I guess :/ But hey when its done themers can really get to work without the framework being constantly tweaked :P
Guest Len Ash Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 For all the early testers out there, N101+ built 18.30 BST 14/6 CM7 101+ md5 148610f9ec2f1dc171e1d106907d765f

Your wrong about the theming though, when this settles CM8 will screw the mix ;)
