Guest sej7278 Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 ZTE had released a new V880 with a different LCD. I think you can differentiate it from other V880 as this new model is shipped with 2.2.2. I tried to install SS and CM7 on it ,everything was good until it went to sleep. When i pressed the power button it couldn't wake up, displaying some white line. I hope Tom_G LCD patch will fix it. did you try my n136+ as that has tom_g's lcd patch in it.
Guest sej7278 Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 I have problem with my tweeter - after restart system is loosing my account and i have to login again... i don't use twitter, but are you sure you have gapps installed - do you have market, gmail etc?
Guest AdrianoPL Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 I had loads of reboots on N135 (previously N128 - no problems at all). Now sitting on N136 and no reboots so far (3 hours or so). However, on N135 and N136 I am experiencing another problem which I didn't notice on N128. When I dial anyone 1st time after putting the phone from sleep, after several seconds of silence I have just few fast beeps and hung. That is no busy signal, it is something like 'no service' signal (sorry, I am not much familiar with the terms). When I dial the same number again, it is going normal. I have this 6-7 times for evey 10 calls made. Anyone else have this issue?

Guest sej7278 Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 (edited) I have the same issue.:( i can't reproduce it myself. are you dialling a contact or inputting the numbers? (i've tried both). does the phone at the other end ring? Edited July 20, 2011 by sej7278
Guest lordofangels Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 No specific Blade fixes/updates in this build. Official CM N137 md5sum: 2ab1be7ae51f66873f2c54bc02927d2c

Thanks Market is missing, what i'm suppose to do to make it work? Vending.apk is present in system/app, has the right permissions but still market is missing. Edited July 20, 2011 by solidchips
Guest bhf Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 The latest ZTE Blades sold in Switzerland have different accelerometer. "LIS33DE/ADXL346 3-axis Accelerometer: 0.2 mA by ST/Adi" instead of "AK8973 3-axis Accelerometer: 0.2 mA by Asahi Kasei". This means basically, that only Stock-ROM and ZTE-leaked Gingerbreads will work with these devices. In any other Custom ROM the accelerometer will fail due to lack of driver support.

OK at this point I'm starting to get angry with ZTE for being so lazy about sources. New incompatible hardware with no kernel sources seems to be popping up everyday.
Guest tsddave Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 N136. Ive had the phone on since yesterday night and charged it while I spelt in standby mode. I have used it for sms and 1 phone call plus have used various apps. I havent had one reboot and my bat is at 78% after 10hour 13mins of use after removing from a full charge this morning. N135 failed but N136 seems fine. I will give it a good testing shortly as im off cycling and will use gps.
Guest mowglii Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 (edited) Hey guys, I haven't been following the thread the last couple of weeks. Which is the best choice if I need a build that just works, I don't need to stay on the bleeding edge. Should I go with 7.0.3 stable or should I grab a nightly? I'm using one of those old Orange SF with OLED screens. Seems there is a 7.1.0 RC aswell, is it any good? Thanks Edited July 20, 2011 by mowglii
Guest qwerty_29 Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Just for shits and giggles I've built a n136+ with the new kernel from Gerrit patched - don't get excited its not 2.6.35, its just some new LCD support and the serial port is re-enabled. Colour me optimistic, but I don't seem to have wifi drain after 19mins online not 1% usage - no idea why as there's nothing that should have fixed it. I've also enabled softbuttons - none are displayed by default but the option is in tablet tweaks to turn them on individually. The "plus" bit is the 3 extra commits after n136 in the changelog which will be in the official n137 Get it from here Edit: 9 hours standby and about 30mins wifi and battery is at 93%, although the last 7mins or so wifi used 3-4% of that. Am going to try your build, sej! Great feedback, congratiulations! One question, though: what should I wipe when going from N131 to this N136+? One more thing: does anyone know any way to enable MMS with data disabled?? I'm from Portugal, and while the 3G Data is a Pay-per-use, I have free MMS and I would like to use it on CM7. When In stock ROM (2.1), I would use an APN app that would disable data and enble MMS, but that does not seem to work in this ROM, and so I cant receive/send MMS without spending money on internet data... Any solutions?

Guest qwerty_29 Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 no i haven't done a full data wipe in quite a while - just dalvik and /cache So... there is no use in backing up apps, correct? I won't lose swiftkey definitions/learned words, or angry birds progress, etc? (sorry for being such a noob) Thank you^!
Guest Simono Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 You lose nothing :) if You only do wipe cache and Dalvik cache after or before flash new nightly.

Hi, you will lose Angry Birds high scores and saves unless you use an Angry Birds back up application available from the Market Place, I have no idea where Swiftkey saves user definitions etc. Anil. Guest sej7278 Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 so I decided to reinstal gaaps but twitter doesn't work any way have you allowed it to auto-update in market, as they just did an update for it the other day, maybe they changed the login API or something? what doesn't work? twitter runs ok on my blade but i've never logged in as i don't use it.

I know from the bitter experience of having to tell my girlfriend her scores were gone. :( Anil. Sent from my Hackintosh using a keyboard & mouse. Edited July 20, 2011 by Anil k Solanki
