Guest Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Thank's for answering sej7278. That sounds nice :) I think i give your build a try. I'm on 161. But i will flash tomorrow morning, i think. Today i have too much work.
Guest sm4tik Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) yes i replaced those three binaries with the ones from tom_g's build. i tried just wpa_supplicant but it didn't work at all well. you could just make a flashable zip with a simple edify script to install them on a vanilla nightly. as far as softbuttons go, notifications seem fine to me, the only thing you don't get is the time in the notification pulldown, to tell you the truth i never even noticed the time until someone said it was missing lol :D -snip- Thanks for verifying. Actually it was me who noticed the missing date on the pulldown. Oh well.. I had some other wierdness with the statusbar at the time when the messages were not displayed. I think I didn't get any animations at all, so maybe it wasn't a sofbutton issue afterall. Anyways, thanks again for your work, you're keeping a lot af people happy aroung here :) edit: Just to be clear, I was talking about status bar messages that are scrolling once, not the ones which are then displayed in the pulldown notification area. Guest CaptainSpectacular Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 If only devs can port the "Dolby" sound of Skate Ginger Rom, CM7 will be almost of almost perfect.
Guest sm4tik Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) Here's a flashable zip for anyone wanting to test Tom's wifi reconnect fix. I've not tested the zip nor the fix yet, so if you get into trouble, don't blame me :) removed link DON'T TRY, I forgot to change permissions! Edited August 26, 2011 by sm4tik
Guest sm4tik Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) Ok, another try. Had to fix it before I go to bed :) See description above. wifi-signed.zip md5 a6c621d12ef283cdbb318c9403b2c62c Edited August 26, 2011 by sm4tik

Guest Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 sej7278, is this the same patch you already included in your 173+ ?

Guest Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 Great :) Now i will flash my OSF with your 173+.
Guest topek Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 Hi guys, Im using nb from 21 july (nb138) Are there any significant improvements compared to latest nbs? I read about 2 weeks ago that GSF is much faster than cm7 because of new kernel. Is it still like this or cm7 has it too. Currently my biggest problem with nb138 is rebooting device after pluging in micro usb cable while gps is on. I also saw new roms. Simply, what do you recommend to me? Greetz Topek
Guest Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 (edited) I would recommend sej7278's 173+ rom. Because he always do a great job. There are a lot of changes between 138 and 173+. I have installed this version sine a hour ago. Everything is working fine, No (gps) reboots or somthing else. Now i will test it a longer time. Is there a theme for the 173+ build which is working? I'm searching for a blue theme with a circle battery mod in blue. I've tested the kitchen but i don't get the themes to work. I get a freeze or reboot at the green android (while booting). Guest MidaMilunk Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 (edited) actually i found out that my phone always reboots when plugged in to the charger. when plugged in to USB on the pc it doesn't reboot . (P's. I am using an iPhone charger because I lost the original one. but this never happened before ) also, would it be possible to change the sensitivity of the touchscreen ? it was much more responsive on Gsf variants ... still using N166, will update Friday when I get home because I'm on edge atm . More or less the same for me! I use the factory charger, and several 500mA ones, and USB, and only one is poblematic: the 1000mA car charger - my personal favourite. Small and powerfull - can also charge while running tha navigation, 500mA ones can only keep the battery level in this case. It turned out also, that the same reboot-thing happens with the "Akash" Froyo version, which happens to have the same kernel... I did not try al available ROM versions, but the reboots does not happen to the Vanilla Leak-out versions. Edited August 28, 2011 by MidaMilunk
Guest MidaMilunk Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 I can not find a patch to integrate AGPS into Settings. Is there such thing anywhere? I always see it in modified ROMs, but just can not find te patch anywhere!
Guest bhf Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 I basically upgraded from N127 to N175 yesterday. With N175, my GPS works ootb without instant reboot. This means for the first time since god knows how many Nightlies no GPS fix is necessary. I searched the changelog, but I didn't find any recent changes to GPS, neither CM nor Blade specific. Am I missing something here, or has GPS fixed itself miraculously?

But as you came from 127 I guess not. :D Actually, this says it was fixed in N175! http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/ZTE_Blade_CyanogenMod But I can't see what in the changelog is meant to have achieved that either. Guest SpeRator Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 I change from GEN1 to GEN2 with "wbaw TPT v8 custom". After that i installed "update-cm-7.1.0-RC1-Blade-KANG-n173plus2-signed" with CW. Than i installed "gapps-gb-full-20110815-signed.zip". The problem is now, i can't start appsdownload in the market. How could i fix it?
Guest Simono Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 Flash leatest nightly and gapps from June from Clockworkmod.

Are you using the charger that came with the phone? It's known to happen with third party chargers.
Guest CaptainSpectacular Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 Yep, it's a third party charger, my brand charger's dead. Its never happened with Monte Stir Fry anyway.
