i've uploaded a 21dec

its got the T9 dialler with the "Dialpad: T9 Dialer - Fixes (android_packages_apps_Contacts)" patch.

the miui-like battery bar is not the new one that runs up the right side of the screen instead of across the top, as that sounds awful.

also softbuttons and the kernel from tom_g's github (with the new camera support etc. as in 15dec and n257+2).

Yes, you can update fine.

And they've already said there won't be another CM7 nightly so you would have been waiting a long time. :D There will likely be a final CM7 stable at some point though.

yes, it includes all the merged commits since n257 - including triple camera preview fix, 5mp camera support, T9 dialer etc.

just changed the language to "english (uk)" and it fixed it. i'm also using a different launcher as well.

Had this issue too. Couldn't navigate menu's as all were Chinese. How / where did you find option to change language? Recovery was the only way out for me (as it was still in English)

it was just a process of elimination really.

if you go into settings, scroll down to the bottom and look for the icon with the "A" in it, select that. the first option will be 'select language'. select that and scroll down the list for 'english(united kingdom)'

Rolled back to sej's build and it is amazing. Nice and smooth really! Like MIUI battery bar :) Yesterday I have tried CM9 and it's good too, but not for daily use so far :(

i've also rolled back to sej's build. loved CM9 but Titanium backup just wouldn't restore anything unfortunately.

i might have to re-TPT though because the larger 215mb system partition has left me with pretty much no space left on my blade, even though i have a 16gb microsd card

It hangs when restoring apps that are not compatible with ICS. You just need to untick them from the restore.

Maybe You to speedy and all app don't yet read from SD Card. Try use Your phone about 10 minutes after reboot.

Every time I reboot the phone I've been getting FCs on ADW only once, afterwards its ok. Anyone else getting this ?

Yeah, it's normal. It seems to be down to having a large number of apps installed and affects all roms and all launchers for me.

its not immediately obvious, but it works for me, i press 4 (GHI) and get Home suggested or 8 (TUV) and get Voicemail.

these CM9 builds - are they actually from Tom_G or are they just ripoffs of the AOSP thread, do they have cyanogenmod features?

I didn't especially notice any CM features . But a lot of the system apk's have the word tom in their package name. :D

Actually it does have the CM ZTE Blade Settings app in it.

ahh ok, thanks. might have to try that again at some point then. maybe do a bit by bit restoration. might leave it till after christmas though, or just flat out wait for CM9 to be completed - not life or death urgent that i have it RIGHT NOW :)

I think it is actually from Tom_G. He was posting them occasionally in the irc channel, but he didn't want them posted on forums yet until it was more stable. Dunno whether he changed his mind, or if someone just posted it.
