Guest AlphaVision Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...tem-2011-04-12/ Thank you! It worked :) use the "search topic" button at the bottom of the page So that's where it is on this forum... I am used to it being at the top right "Topic tools" drop-down :)
Guest Xenon0816 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Nightly 39 is out. Is it for Gen1 or Gen2? It's for gen1... Only the builds after the final release of CM will be for gen2! (we're just stable atm not final yet)
Guest panosfx Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) Why the name for the last release is "nightly 39"?I think 7.0.1 stable maybe is better! Edited April 13, 2011 by panosfx
Guest buneech Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Why the name for the last release is "nightly 39"?I think 7.0.1 stable maybe is better! Because it is a nightly release, not a stable release.
Guest curl66 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 at the moment i am alittle bit unsure how to continue. i have installed on alle my friends blades the JJ-TPT image so /system is 128MB. since this is a little bit to small for CM7 plus gapps i like to resize. but to go back to stock seems to be waste of space. have somebody allready done a new TPT with /system around 140MB ? for those that have already created their own TPT´s... is it difficult to do ? think of doing one with changed partition size and actual CWM and CM7 stable. so installation is absloute easy. i asked this because at the moment i has no time to read all the stuff. if TPT is not so difficult i will do one at weekend.

Yeah it's easy - though slightly scary the first time you do it lol. It tells you in post 1 here how to do your own sizes: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...ol-alpha3-gen1/

Guest JimJam707 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 @HCDRJaob CM7 for ZTE Blade will be going Gen2 over the next few days. I'll submit the patches by friday. It's up to you guys to update to Gen2.
Guest streather Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Every nightly i've tried for the last week upto and including the stable release has suffered from quite a lot of random freezes and crashes, especially while charging up for some reason. Am unsure how to check the log file to see whats causing it though -.-

Guest HCDR.Jacob Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 so friday or weekend we will get a final cm7? You have a final CM7 (well final 7.0.0 anyway) At the weekend, you'll get the first Gen2 nightlies. There will be a CM7.1.0 at some point, though I don't know when.

Guest alex1alex2alex3alex4 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 so stable and n39 are final? with issues? Issues ? To quote Jacob "they don't give a s***". Our problem, not theirs.
Guest The Soup Thief Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Issues ? To quote Jacob "they don't give a s***". Our problem, not theirs. "He who pays the piper picks the tune" How much have you been paying him then? Nothing? Right, well stop moaning then and either follow the guides carefully to enjoy the continuing development and further improvement of cyanogenmod on your blade or don't - install a different ROM and go about your business I suggest you have a read of the cyanogen terms and conditions you implicitly accepted when you downloaded and installed the ROM - I saw Jacob posted them round here somewhere earlier on
Guest CECT Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Anyone experiencing the bluetooth connection going off when the phone goes idle? Any solution to this problem? Thanks
Guest faren Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 I've upgraded from CM7 n28 to stable version. however it looks different resolution I got. on CM7 n28 I got a nice resolution (proper size on icon and label), after flash to stable version, the resolution more bigger than before, especially the icon and label. I've tried to reflash it more than one time and also wipe data before do that. Does anyone have same problem ?

He only tells those who haven't paid "convert to Gen2 or piss off" ? What relevance does this question bear here ? None. It's a matter of attitude and style. I do enjoy the development and improvement (well, it's only be going backwards really with the last couple of nightlies, which I, hope you don't mind, do not enjoy that much), but no, I don't think that entitles someone to insult me because he's the god of the Blade and I'm just a user.
Guest londonmax Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 +1, Dead on.... it pays to use the old adage wisely.... RTFM... Yer fellow countryman! \o/ I haven't posted on here for a while but I am amazed and very impressed at how quickly the world of android development can progress for a budget smartphone. However, I'm not sure when this happened but this incredible forum we have (thanks originally to Paul) seems to have become extremely egotistical and revolve around the opinions and postings of five or six highly strung users. Surely we all want the same thing and can stop acting quite so childishly. It seems that some administrators (Steven Harper, etc) have become the moderators of squabbles, in particular between CM developers and the average MoDaCo user. Unfortunately to an outsider it looks like Steven is the only significant poster who's truly interested in helping and guiding the many new people who have been introduced to the wonders of android thanks to the Blade. The Blade is an incredible platform to develop and improve upon, please can we leave our tantrums and pathetic egos at the door and be slightly more understanding to each other. Take a page out of Steven's (and others) book and actually try to help each other. I'm sorry if this reads like a rant, I blame the late night/early morning long island iced tea(s). Max Just to mention; currently running CM7 N39 on a UK OLED GEN1 and having no problems with GPS or any reboots/shutdowns on charging, keep up the great development, cut the terrible chat
Guest Paden Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Anyone experiencing the bluetooth connection going off when the phone goes idle? Any solution to this problem? Thanks I've experienced exactly the same thing. I think this issue relates to it. It works perfectly for me on some ROMs but CM7 & others have the issue you mention. I don't know what exactly controls Bluetooth or I'd venture having a look myself. I could only see one .apk from memory perhaps it's a core function of the kernel? Hopefully a solution will be found as I'd like to move over to CM7 permanently. Cheers, Paul

He's someone with a hobby and less obligation to you than you imply Let's leave this silliness and move on
