So that regular developers have a chance to fix the issues. To do that, someone has to report those bugs. To do that, someone has to install even the most bug infested nightly. Quite simple, really.

The simple truth is:

We are not even allowed to report bugs found in nightlies.

Just some info about the GPS reboot:

I recently upgraded to GEN2 via TPT, installed CM7-n54, and I get reboots when I use a GPS application (google navigation)

Previously I was on GEN1 running CM7-n54 with the kk_kernel... with that I did not experience any reboots,

clearly the issue is in the kernel

PS> how come none has reported the issue in the bug tracker

We are the wrong audience for that question, I'm afraid, we are just users ourselves.

I was referring to those "more recent" users who seem to have a fixation that CM7 is some kind of Nirvana in ROM terms. It certainly isn't, as of now or the foreseeable future.

If you have a Netgear router, then WiFi reconnects will be an issue. If you don't, then it isn't. I have "shipped" many many Blade's with various 2.2 ROMs (FLB/MCR/JJ/SS plus my own specials) and not one needed any WiFi frigs, and still don't. Only one "client" had an issue, and that was the Sh1tgear router. Now resolved.

CM7 in any form has never had a working WiFi solution per se.

I don't think WiFi ever worked on any Blade ROM. Work means proper working with screen on/off. I'm not talking about reconnect on wake up. CM7 gives you an illusion that WiFi works while screen off by not disconnecting WiFi BUT it actually stops transmission of data when screen goes off.

I can remember a user posted here that he got his wifi connected constantly for about 24hrs and he was referring to his battery usage statistics. That was true because WiFi never disconnected BUT actual data transmission blocked.

The best way to check it is pinging your blade when connected to wifi and screen is off.

I tried GPS with Stable 7.0.1 and it seemed to work. Did try just few minutes with maps, but usually my phone reboot after 10sec of trying to use GPS

Which Kernel are you all using from GEN1 -> GEN2? KK has a couple listed on his thread, but I'm not sure which one everyone's using for "no GPS issues".

I look forward to upgrading from N35 with the right kernel once 7.0.2 is out... Thanks.
