gps disabled

i bought my I8000 from egypt and the gps is disabled by authorities here i heared they disabled it using the registery of the gps

if you guys can help me in that problem i will appreciate it and thanks in advance

Hi!

User jh787 posted a .zip that contained two .cabs. Both of them modify the registry settings to improve GPS reception. Maybe they will 'touch' the registry settings that have been disabled for you, so you can use it. Just unzip it in your PC, copy both cabs to your O2 and run them from it.

i guess my gps is working now after the gps fix installation as i tested using that app and i got some rates

actually not sure if its working or not as its not working with google maps , i'm looking for an IGO8 or any other navigation app
