Guest mckal13
The Vega doesnt have a satellite GPS, but it does have an option for assistive GPS (which never seems to connect). How does it work? Is it possible to get assistive GPS working through a wifi signal? I know it isnt very accurate, but it is still pretty useful... I believe 'assistive GPS' works by using a combination of mobile phone masts & wi-fi router locating. If you want proper GPS on the Vega you can tether your 3G mobile if it has GPS capability or buy a cheap external bluetooth GPS device and connect it wirelessly to the Vega. This process is described in my topic on the subject. :D
