Thanks for new versions which are better and better. As you're upto fixing languages, czech is also "broken". System is OK but in Google Apps everything is in English. It's not much problem for me, but if you could it would be good to see it fixed.

EDIT: It's broken since first version of MCR

Ummm, camera seems OK here?

P

I lost the camera after wipe/install, there's just the green android icon in its place.

Paul, will you provide a .zip to flash over the ROM, or a new ROM version?...

The clock in the upperright are is suddenly black and hard to read...

(wiped, then installed FR17).

Anyway to get it back to white, so I can read it again?

Sorry, didn't mean to offend you. I am keeping my phone, I know what to do, but sooner or later down the line, the phone will be sold or given away. It's that scenario I'm thinking of.

With all due respect, this is not our nor Paul's problem. If you absolutely have to use Norwegian you should complain to LG.

I would rather like Paul to focus on more important things, though that is of course completely up to him to decide.

It's been covered a million times before. You have selected conflicting settings in the kitchen, e.g. Remove battery pop-up and Status bar Vanilla/Gingerbread settings.

I'm sneaking a little something extra in RC2 as well as the IPtables 'log' fix requested earlier in thread. I won't tell you what it is, but i'll give you a clue.

Hey Paul, is there any way you could fix the Enable/disable Data in settings? Either it doesn't work or there is something fishy in the Gingerbread theme. When my phone has issues setting up the data connection it shows the default LG-styled H (white icon with dark H on it). When unchecking "Data enabled" the same H icon appears, but Quick Settings tells me data is disabled. I also seem to sometimes have a hard time connecting mobile data when Wi-fi is enabled and suddenly disconnects - E.g. wi-fi is enabled but not connected for some reason (might be related to shitty AP), and the white H icon is displayed and I have no internet connection. Disabling wi-fi or moving out of AP range seems to fix it.

I didn't in any way say it was Pauls problem, or that he had made an error, or any such thing. I was trying to be helpful by pointing out that you can not get Norwegian language on the phone *at all* without installing a 3rd party app.

That's absolutely fine.

If Paul has an interest in fixing it, then he'd need to know about it first. That was my only intention.

Do not mistake bug/glitch-reports for criticism.

Kitchen updated. SURPRISE! :)

Note that the EternityProject kernel is very much Beta / Unsupported etc. etc. and is included as little extra for those that requested it.

Changelog

  • Updated MCK with IPtables 'LOG' support (user request)

Strange, will have a look at that.
