Alrighty, uploading RC3 now. From RC3 the default MCK kernel (MCK r14 OCUV) can be overclocked using PimpMyCPU. The Eternity Project will still be included as an option, but it is updated and USB mount fixed. :P

Beer money coming your way!

Truly appreciate all the work you put out for us, if it weren't for you, I would have sold my o2x long ago and purchased the SGS II.

Kitchen updated! You can grab 'pimpmycpu' here or in the Android Market for clock speed / voltage control.

Changelog

18 May Fr17 RC 3

  • EternityProject kernel updated to r2, USB mount fixed (if using, install PimpMyCPU to control)
  • MCK (MoDaCo Custom Kernel) updated to r14 (normal and 64MB patched versions), now with OC/UV support too as standard. The phone is NOT overclocked by default. (if using, install PimpMyCPU to control)

Paul,

your ROM is really great, but i always have battery drain on your ROM, no matter which Version.

I was now using WGSpoelstra Rom 1.5a http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1032419 which is based on http://romkitchen.org/

There i couldn't reconize any strange battery drain (e.g. on telephone) and i was really satisfied. Maybe this helps you to identify the telehone-drain-issue (really want to go back to MCR, love your work!)

Paul, now with default Kernel (MCK) i can OC right? OC with Pumpmycpu right?

Time to make a cup of tea methinks. :P

OK, so this is the real release candidate now - if this turns out stable enough for everyone, this will become Fr17 public release / prebake tomorrow morning. No more changes planned before wider release.

I'm still using the SGS II a lot, but I didn't want to really start with that until i'm happy with the 2X status. :P

I've also been prepping the Asus Transformer kitchen today, as well as doing some coding for an unrelated project (real work!) :P

Sweet, you made the o2x a great device, and I have a Transformer coming from the states next week :P So I think I'm lucky with my choice of devices!

Thanks Paul!

Can do I set my Rom?
