Guest Macheath Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Wait! Faster than Fr18 beta 2 without LG apps on ext4...are you sure?
Guest JanOwe Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 can anyone explain if there is any dependency for the hidden menu when baking a rom. It worked only one time for me, when i used the Lg dialer, and i have no "activities" in shortcut menu too?
Guest Artemon Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Please comfirm! If I coming from MCR FR17, I have to go back to EXT3 and after flash the ROM? Thank's!

Guest flyingdog77 Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Wait! Faster than Fr18 beta 2 without LG apps on ext4...are you sure? yess.. unbelieveble.. I baked a rom without LG widgets (I use SPB 3D shell). It is faster, a lot faster.. Fr19b5 with baseband 614... it looks a better phone. I can talk now without phone dropping the call. I confirm the quality is a bit in the middle but, being the speaker more aloud I can accept the loss of quality.... it is fairly ok! I am testing the rest, the battery looks better too, it's just one day impression! let u know guys.. and again thanks! ahh I forgot, SPB 3D shell crashes at the first (after boot) startup... I didn't investigate more on this, I just hit "retry" and it starts just fine... anyway, that's wired
Guest goatee Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 I'm sure :) And in 2 hours, with GMail and Exchange email on, I've lost 1% battery. Wait! Faster than Fr18 beta 2 without LG apps on ext4...are you sure?

I think I always had this problem, I wrote to SPB's support, they said they were going to look into it.

I've tried moving it to system/app thinking it may make a difference; doesn't.
Guest thh Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Has somebody experience with baseband 0606 versus 0614 ? Which one is better to use with FR19? thanks
Guest goatee Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Using 0606 and no complaints at all. Has somebody experience with baseband 0606 versus 0614 ? Which one is better to use with FR19? thanks

Guest Paul Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Any logcats for the SPB crash? I actually bought it (but don't use it), so I should probably install and investigate. :) P
Guest Paul Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Oh, I see, it's a SPB Shell 3D generated error rather than a crash... best log a support call with them perhaps? Guest sid1712 Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Paul, a new Korean ROM is out on XDA - v10t :) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1133524
Guest Paul Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 It's actually older than the 0606 ROM we're using though. P

Guest Paul Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 I suspect the 1809 code won't work with the non LG dialler... P
Guest JanOwe Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 (edited) I have no access to activities via shortcut menu, no matter what dialer i have selected. Any hint how can i use hidden menu, or i should select the lg dialer. Edited June 21, 2011 by JanOwe
Guest wapz Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Pls, can anyone test hidden menu. Only with stock google launcher & stock dialer. You should get it anyway to improve the GPS. Go to GPS test, System settings, SULP setting and select SLP Auto Provision. That makes GPS waaayyy faster for me. Can this be turned on by default Paul in RC2 maybe?
Guest JanOwe Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 I know that, but i cannt access the hidden menu, if i bake a rom w/o lg dialer. That`s what i`m asking about - is there any way to access the hidden - menucode or shortcut (but i have no activities) via the shortcutmenu.

Guest cheloman Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 I have SPB shell too, but it crashed at FR18 too... Also, I pick Disable Music Controls when I bake it, but it keep installing anyway. Can anyone confirm this or its just me that I missclick when I selected? The rom is really fast and stable. I cant find any difference with EXT4 based.
