Guest aaww Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 Ive not read the entire thread for this (FR19) being on FR18B2 still, but have you reverted back to EXT3 first? Yes you must revert to ext3. You don't need to read the thread to understand that. It is on the first page of this thread.
Guest aaww Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 Paul: Cannot see ths in Market: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.a...dot=1&pli=1 Anybody else able to see CoPilot Live Premium Nordics in the Market app? I can see it. I didnt do any changes to my phone to get it. it was just there.

Indeed, I was asking who I quoted, just to be clear. But also it says this on the first page: To install this ROM:•Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your SD card (/sdcard/_ExternalSD) - you must used a physical microSD card! •Restart your device in recovery mode •PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU •Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to your memory card - your device will auto convert to EXT4 on installation. You MUST use a physical microSD card!

Guest PhilNelwyn Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 Hello. I have a problem : when I check or uncheck the "2G only" option in mobile networks settings, it changes my APN setting and I get charged an extra fee by my carrier for a modem option. It didn't occur before I update from MCR Fr16 / stock baseband to Fr19 RC2 / 0622 baseband. Does anybody know what to do to address this problem ?

Guest Paul Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 Camera auto brightness bug come back in Fr19...? Yes, I will fix it in the next release. For reference tho, disable 'auto brightness' in settings, set max brightness, then re-enable auto brightness again. Problem solved? P

Before you install the rom use the tool found here http://android.modaco.com/content/lg-optimus-2x-2x-modaco-com/336318/4-apr-r1-backtoext3-for-converting-your-device-er-back-to-ext3/ using CWM Then flash the rom and everything should be ok Edited July 7, 2011 by Shadman2011
Guest Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 (edited) am i right to say that when i wipe /system and /data back to ext3, CWM WILL REMAIN because it is in a different location? (Because if CWM will be wiped as well, then i can't figure out a logical sequence to install FR19 and we have a deadlock situation.) currently CWM 4.0.0.5 is having ext4 issues, but i suppose it can work with ext3? that would mean that once i wipe /system and /data to ext3, CWM 4.0.0.5 can actually be used to flash FR19? so i can follow the sequence: 1. take nandroid backup (of FR18 and before) using CWM 3.2.0.1 and before. 2. copy backup elsewhere 3. flash recovery CWM 4.0.0.5 4. wipe /system and /data to ext3 5. flash FR19 using CWM 4.0.0.5. ? last question: if i need to restore the nandroid backup, do i need to manually convert to ext4, or will the restoration take care of that? Thanks! Edited July 7, 2011 by Guest
Guest Bachi2 Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 Seems that since FR19, I can't debug launch an app from Eclipse, I always get: [2011-07-07 15:58:06 - Some] Uploading Some.apk onto device '0280404242a0f...' [2011-07-07 15:58:11 - Some] Failed to install Some.apk on device '0280404242a0f...': timeout [2011-07-07 15:58:11 - Some] Launch canceled! It works perfectly when using my second 2X with an older FR ROM. Any ideas?

Guest ciarpame Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 (edited) Doesn't work for me. Any alternatives? Or am I suppose to delete al the erase data? Market doctor in Titanium Backup (maybe only available in Pro version). It worked for me. Edited July 8, 2011 by ciarpame
Guest ciarpame Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 (edited) I installed the gingerbread vanilla black theme together with FR19 When switching from wifi to 2g/3g data or viceversa I can always see for a second the standard LG icon (G/E/H in white background), after then is restored the cutest, smaller green gingerbread icon. During calls (with the green background notification bar) the standard LG icon is always shown. Is this a theme bug or it's just unavoidable? Still about this theme: is it possible to change the turquoise small text in system preference screens (I suppose it should be gray in the original gingerbread theme)? Anyway this theme is very cool and even more if comparing the new stylish google icons in notification area with the stock ungraceful LG ones. Edited July 8, 2011 by ciarpame
Guest colhicks Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 Hello All, has someone tried fr18b2 with the new baseline 0622 and according RIL? does it work at all? Because at the moment I have BSODs around all 48 hours. with fr18b2 And because of missing tun.ko I can not update to fr19. So perhaps the new baseline perhaps brings some help? Thanks for any hints on this Regards colhicks
Guest kruppin Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 (edited) Saw on XDA that LG has released a newer dated source code for a phone named P990H. Hopefully those sources are compatible with our V10c (622), will you give it a look paul? Edit: Apparently CM has used some of it's code which seems to have some fix for bsod, so it's very possible it's our 622 kernel. Oh, my god FR20 will rock if this is the case. Edited July 8, 2011 by kruppin
Guest Paul Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 I'll take a look. An unrelated update... Gr1 by the end of this month anyone? P
