Please do not exclude PCSync atm - there is an issue I need to fix there.

Uf, I just flashed it without the PCSync 10 mins ago. Should I bake a rom with PCSync and redo it?

Can I ask how you are moving the files to your external SD card?

Is it via a Windows pc or direct onto the Phone?

Are you going into the 5.5GB Internal SD card and then into the "_ExternalSD" folder instead of to the Other Removable Device shown in My Computer?

Groovy

don't worry about me I fixed my problem thanks to djmcnz

After flashing FR7, my battery consumption has gone sky high. The LG Launcher is draining the battery by 20 percent each hour.

Never had this problem with the original rom.

Any ideas?

I have succesfully flashed the latest version.

I have included the LG Widgets in my build, just so i can use the Calendar widget provided by LG.

Is it possible to include this Calandar widget into the ‘normal‘ widgets?

All the other LG widgets are just there, not being used.

TI restore works fine for me (with angry birds).

But i would really like to hear some more about the PC sync related bug Paul mentioned.

I baked my ROM without pc sync and have not seen any problems at all....

By removing the PC sync you loose the ‘ability‘ to save contacts on your phone, why?

Tried to restore my stock rom from nandroid backup, but after restore the phone gets stuck at the boot screen.

Could it be because of EXT4? Do i need to convert back to EXT3?

well.... "Please do not exclude PCSync atm - there is an issue I need to fix there." sounded like it was something serious.

I had too some lag, hang and freeze with FR5 and FR6 (not installed FR7) generaly, when playing some games, when surfing

I've removed the external SD card and now everything's ok : no more lag nor freeze.

I have been playing with the new Fr7 last night and today since 8 am. I was testing the Browser and opera as well. works grate on mobile internet and wifi.

I even had both of them on at the same time, there was no issue for me.

I am experiencing Widgets crashing and Error messages while trying to access the keyboard settings (Gingerbread or LG), as well as sudden closure of the Wizard that starts after a fresh install of the rom.

Other than that no other issues so far.

I am installing things from the market and playing with games and apps and so far there are no issues.

Good work Paul !

I will be Subscribing to MoDaCo Plus later on today.

Not because of your job on the LG but because i support what you do.

I've been using now Fr7 with the "stockish" .9 kernel for one day and it seemed to work nicely but i have now had few major lockups and im going back to Fr4 which have worked without problems. I hope these issues get solved soon.

Well i experienced some random freezing/lagging and total lockup where the screen or buttons will not respond. Only battery pull helped.

I've had this as well. Happened 3 times since I went to bed last night. Phone was frozen when I woke up in the morning and it happened 2 times when charging the phone here at work.

Had to take out battery to get phone on again. Running stock kernel.

Not had this problem before.
