SMS app = MMS app.

P

I understand that Paul, and yet i have no option of sending mms since the only app i have is Messaging, and that is for text only.

but it seems like if i take a photo from the cam i can share it via mms.

for some reason i remember i had it in the Stock rom but now i see its not a problem at all.

Thanks.

Messaging is for MMS too?

P

yes it is but you cant attach a photo or sound file while in the app. you need to chose a file manually and the select share via Messaging.

i tried to send something and it works grate.

I don't know why i remember that but in the stock rom you could attach photos or files while composing the text.

Maybe it is just me.

Is it possible to merge the LG Calender e-mail widget into the "Android widgets" and eventually remove the original Calendar?

The LG looks and works better (i think) and it's actually the only one i use from LG, all the other are just there not being used.

I found another issue with the camera in the Fr7.

If the Brightness setting is in Auto mode. when opening the camera app the screen will get very dark.

That weird, mine gets brighter. :D Fr7, auto setting in brightness.

Edit: And another weird thing is that my SD-Card seems to unmount itself all the time. Must take it out and insert it again. Haven't tried formating just yet, but didn't have this problem in Fr5. CWM doesn't even find it until i reinsert it sometimes. Maybe a defect card?

That's the beauty of the kitchen - I prefer the original calendar, so that's what I add to my bakes :D

If i leave out the Google Calendar and the LG Widgets, will the LG Calendar widget get merged into the "original" Widgets?

Or is it necessary to include the LG Widgets to get the widget for the LG Calendar?

You can still do that. At least with the LG Keyboard.

Hi Paul,

is there a chance you can implement a notification-flash with the backlight of the soft-touch-buttons ?

I just want to repeat my post:

http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&amp...t&p=1654382

This would make my day !

There is a dev at the swedish android forum that has made an notification app for the lg optimus 2x. its only beta so far though, but ill ask in hes thread if i can link it here..

the app makes the touch button backligt pulsate slowly when tere is an unread sms, email, or an unanswered phonecall.

Both Paul and I have talked to lilHermit about this (dev of Trackball Alert) and ultimately, because the buttons don't have a flash function it will kill the battery. Basically, since you couldn't tell a button to "flash" you'd have to continuously adjust the intensity up and down which means using CPU cycles all of the time.

Based on that logic, which sounds good to me, it can't be done efficiently. Which is sad.

To all those with fast battery draining:

I read on a danish website that using custom kernels might screw up the battery calibration.

http://www.mobilsiden.dk/nyheder/android-d...aske,lid.15088/

It says that if you flash a new rom with 50% battery, the phone will take the 50% as the new 100%.

It also states that rebooting into recovery while fully charged should fix the problem... I don't know if this works though.

Edit:

I found the original article here:

Yep, Paul, does wiping battery stats work in CWM for O2x? It doesn't provide much output when trying.

Paul is it safe to install ROM Manager on Fr7 or it will mess up the clockwork mod ?

Paul since you are miracle worker so far, i have a question. As everybody knows this phone has problems playing 720p and 1080p movies/shows that are downloadend from well well let's say sources. Like me many others don't wanna reencode every show they watch. Do you have any idea what causes this? I dont know if this is a stupid question but well i just wanna ask it because that would make this phone finished :D

Not sure tbh, I don't really watch videos so haven't tried the different options!

Paul i noticed a strange issue with the battery.

I charge it full, then restart the phone and let it rest for 30 sec, then the battery shows 97% more or less and it takes 16 min for it to charge back to 100%

I tested it 8 times now and it is consistent.

And here comes the boom...all this time the phone was connected to the charger (not computers USB).

Is this a normal behaviour ?

One last question for today Paul.

Are plus users getting the Titanium Backup pro from the kitchen instead of the free ver ?

(Same question about the Resco Backup)

Or the licences installed separately ?

Thanks.

p.s

Cant wait to test the Fr8

I have SSD HD on my laptop so converting videos is not an issue for me. but you can use different video players that support verious file formats, such as the Act 1 Video Player that i had personal experience with. it costs 1.50$ but it plays most of the formats.

Just do some research in google or try the Act 1 player(you will love it).

EDIT:

Forgot to mention Best video Player Pro witch is free and Very good as well !
