i accidentally changed fonts with the built in font app, and after switching the font back to default everything started force-closing on boot.

looks like thankfully most of the damage got fixed by a fix-permissions in cwm, and a titanium restore.

Fr9 seems like a bit of a battery hog.

used from 68% to 48% during the night. 6 hours of sleep...

Hi,

Had a complete freeze with FR9 option during browsing the web and I had to remove the battery.

My battery seems to be free falling... After 8 hours in the charger over night, it dips to 98% the second I unplug it, 10 minutes of twitter has it down to 90%.

I've been running TONS of hacks and custom kernels, mods, updates and stuff so I think it's time for me to do a full nvflash and start over :D

Paul, got an ETA on FR9?

After 8hours sleep from 30% to 29% with Fr9. Only gmail push on, 78dB EDGE signal. Great as used to with my 2x.

Had two freak lockups on FR9 test release and the lag is back. Playing music with Playerpro and scrolling through Launcherpro already causes lag. I'm going back to the old kernal because this doesn't work very well. Battery has also started free-falling again, from 100% to 76% under two hours of which 90 minutes have been idle and I haven't played any games or anything.

Yeah, the test kernel (that is test for that reason!) isn't working out so well! B)

New release online this afternoon btw people... it'll be a 'stable' release so updates will become less frequent. Some cool stuff in it too. :D

Thant looks very nice Paul.

Have you seen this Beta ver of the lights notification app ?

http://www.swedroid.se/forum/showthread.php?t=38703

It is in Swedish, so ill brake it down for you...(to save you the time to Google translate)

When screen is off the app checks every 30 sec to see if there is any new incoming email, sms/mms, calls.

If it's returned as true the lights of your touch buttons light up.

It lights up every 10 sec for 3 hours. If the phone is not wakened withing that time, it stops.

You can also set the default value of the brightness of the buttons with this app.

Right now it is in Beta stage but i think that hikari the developer is on to something here...

Tried now in Chrome, IE and Firefox. I can't see the kitchen.

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong, or is there a direct link?

Yeah, seen that but it seems to be pretty rough on the battery?

@Henrikmand

why did you quote the whole kitchen post???

P

no one has reported that it's rough on the battery, works nice :D

P

it is since the device is waking up every 30 sec :D

I just hope that some one will solve it but in my general opinion, there is no problem in turning on the device and look if there are any notifications on the lock screen.

i dont really need to have my hand on the pulse 24/7 B)

1 - Don't quote the entire kitchen, that post is HUGE!

2 - Check the options you want, then click the oven, wait a few seconds and your download should start.

3 - If you can't see the options, take a screenshot and post it here :D
