The device is very smooth now and Quadrant doesn't score under 3100 for me.

i run it 4 times.

Need to pay more attention to the kitchen (I marked Revert SQLite Library to Stock by mistake) .

Cheers Paul.

Manually add the APN settings for 3G

Settings -> Connections -> Mobile Networks -> APN

Well, the APNs are all there. Now that I reverted to Rev06, it seems to be ok again.

EDIT: well, after referring to Rev06 and then upgrading to FR10 again, that is without a full reset, it became allright again :D

Noticed one more thing...

Battery Level is more stable now.

i just flashed another rom when the battery was on 86%.

Now after the flash it is still on 86% that is much better than in Fr8.

Cheers.

Well something is blocking your browser from loading the kitchen server...?

P

Back on the track! :D

Must have been some kind of block on my company-laptop. Using one of the laptops at home helped B)

Is it possible to get the LG-Callendar widget without baking the LD-Widgets in to the Rom? :D

First bake... will do a full wipe and flash at 100% batt. Hopefully this will get rid of my problems with huge battery drain.

Thanks Paul for everything! :D

You can ADB the widget apk to your phone if you wanted to.

Is it possible to save a "preset" in the Rom Kitchen, so that you dont have to click and declick stuff every time there is a new rom available?. I mean some form of setting so that your choices are saved so you can import them and doesn't have to select and deselect every time there is changes?

Wow so I wasnt the only one with the problem. I had it twith stock and 'vanilla'. Notice on the notification bar it shows T-Mobile and |T-Mobile. My sim used to take forever getting a signal. I thought it has to be my one2one sim that I had about 10 years ago lol. So I got a new T-Mobile sim and its fixed

My Sim is brand new :D

This is something you need to check with your provider.

Basically this is Line 1 selected on your SIM as active. (reason you are getting 'Unexpected response from network' is that you don't have Line 2 set by your provider)

Some SIM cards support 2 lines (2 numbers, 1 number +data....) where you can switch between, something like dualSIM but in one SIM card.

Depends on your previous device which may not have this notification display and this is the reason why you are seeing this now.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can disable this icon in notification area from device menu of the handset, however I am sure Paul can tweak it or at least give an idea if you are keen to tweak it by yourself.

Hope this helps you, if you need more info, try Google it [Dual Line SIM Card]

Thanks for the Explanation, so Paul or anyone who has the skills, do you feel up to the task of ridding me of this Pesky Icon?

Or alternatively point me in the right direction and I will attempt to fix it myself.

Thanks

Baked another rom with font selected and this solved my black clock on the top bar. Anyway I had to remove the battery because while disabling wifi the phone it goes stuck, also in general it seems more laggy than my previous Fr8 rom.

Paul had mentioned that the new kitchen will have that function :D

Please kindly wait B)

Hey Paul, what is about:

1. Change the path from the external SD-card (sdcard/_ExternalSD) to '/sdcard' in the MoDaCo ROM by default, so that apps like 'titanium backup' and 'app2sd free' work correctly! Because the 5,5GB are very small and the external SD-card is for no use by Apps. Europe Map from navigon is over 2GB big, so it is really a pitty, the internal SD-card has the path '/sdcard' and it is not removable and small.

2. Change the mobile view from webpages in the default browser, which you can only disable till the next browser start (about:debug), to desktop view by default.

It would be really nice to see this in a next ROM, maybe I am not alone with these wishes.

Thank you!

Titanium Backup works fine for me, with my External SD. So you must be doing something wrong :D.

THIS ISSUE IS NOT ROM RELATED.

The issue with External SD's not working is because the app developers are not factoring that in their their development. They assume that /sdcard is always sdcard, so I would suggest you punk your app developers for a fix and not a brilliant guy like paul B). Personally I would hate having my External SD mapped to /sdcard, meaning all my app data would be stored on a slower External SD rather then on a hopefully faster build in NAND chip.
