Hey Paul, what is about:

1. Change the path from the external SD-card (sdcard/_ExternalSD) to '/sdcard' in the MoDaCo ROM by default, so that apps like 'titanium backup' and 'app2sd free' work correctly! Because the 5,5GB are very small and the external SD-card is for no use by Apps. Europe Map from navigon is over 2GB big, so it is really a pitty, the internal SD-card has the path '/sdcard' and it is not removable and small.

Would love to see that, too! I'm not able to install some games because they are trying to download a necessary content. So there's always appearing a message that there's not enough space left because the game just checks the small internal memory :)

Ask the game developer to change their game :). That is where the problem is. If this "change" gets entered into the ROM then please make it an option either have it or not. I for one DO NOT want my SD card mounted at the mountpoint dedicated for the internal SD >_<

You are not right. In almost every other android phone, the external SD-card is mounted under '/sdcard'. The LGOS 'emulates' a second physical SD-card, the internal memory, and mounts it under '/sdcard' instead the REAL removeable SD-card!! There is the problem (when you need space)

Ok then. Find me another android phone WITH internal SD that mounts the external SD as /sdcard then :). The reason why most other Android phones mount the SD card as /sdcard is because they DO NOT have a lot of internal memory like the LG2x has and thus can mount the external as /sdcard. The only way I see this working would be for the LG2x to have it ENTIRE 8Gb storage converted into Internal Phone memory, at which point you can decide to use the SD card as /sdcard.

But whether or not you can actually make all the 8Gb into internal phone memory or it has to be split up like this I do not know. And I expect that people like Paul or someone else as knowledgeable as him might be able to answer.

Am I the only one that after 2 or 3 reboot find the phone locked on first LG animation? I must reset with nvflash everytime this happen.

That's default Android behaviour, you can change it under WiFi Settings -> (Menu Button) Advanced -> Policy for WiFi Standby.

I installed the pre-baked version, did a wipe, everything works fine except that I can't download from the market. I can see my apps and browse others but when I select one for installation it never gets past "starting download". Tried it on both wifi and 3G.

I installed a kitchen version but have the same problem, even I did a fix permissions in recovery.

Downloading regular files and installing apps directly works just fine.

I wanted to revert to my backup of the original LG version but that one seems to lock during boot.

any Ideas?

I set the date to automatic but apparently it never changed, works great now, thanks.

For me It isn't going black but gets darker and the reason for that is the sensitive light sensor.

do you use the shortcut keys or go to settings and disable it from there ?

Yes this is a problem but you can get in to the settings while the keyboard is running.

Just start a new SMS or something then press the key to the right of ?123 key and you are in.
