Hey guys. Please help. Using baked rom fr12 - screen doesnt lit up when I receive SMS. please help.

That won't really happen.

It will take some time.

Cyanogen is working on Gingerbread for a few weeks now.

I think Paul is only cleaning up the mess that LG did with the stock ROM's

That's optional if you are using the online kitchen.

Ok, some more on the reboot issue. I've tried JD beta with ultimate (paid) edition and the phone stille reboots. Pretty quick actually, within 20 mins or so. I've also noticed that when WiFi is disabled in JD, no reboots occur and when enabled in JD, after a reboot the system WiFi settings are disabled. Enabling WiFi in the settings will cause reboots again -> conclusion: something's amiss with the WiFi drivers and/or the way JD controls them. I've also noticed that without JD and with WiFi enabled, sometimes the radio doesn't connect to my AP correctly. Disable-enable WiFi and it connects again... Let's hope that the man himself can fix these things in this great ROM...

Hey Paul, there is a way to reduce RAM consumption (XDA-Developer djmcnz) when we remove the LG updater (about <15MB), maybe you should try to implement in next release!

Everything else seems to work fine, keep up the good work!

It's generally a bad idea to try any manufacturer/Google OTA on a custom ROM.

Well... Paul has previously indicated that he might get a GB leak soon. So i think you might be wrong about the time table... But you are right in that it wont be fr 13.... fr= froyo.... GB rom would be named gb 1

Quick question.

How should i update the baseband ?

What is the correct procedure ?

1) nandroid backup

2) copy the backup to PC

3) flash the baseband

4)install clockwork recovery

5) copy the backup to the SD and restore it ?

How come on such a powerful device 2d graphics are so poorly supported ?

Is there any way to boost the frame rate for 2d ?

Simple games such as paper jer are running with a lag but there is no problem with high end games :)

first of all, thanks for the Fr13, just flashed and feel so smooth while using.

but what is included in MCK r8?

and I found some bugs possibly from the Stock ROM ..

1. When I try to add the voice mail box number, the place for input is grey in color and I can not input anything in it..

2. When connecting to a wifi AP, it will cause a com.android.setting terminate error. (it happens only when using Traditional Chinese as System Language, other language work fine)

one more thing is the battery drain problem.. possibly because of the battery driver of LG is buggy?

even I delete the battery stat. the battery drop from 100 to 90 in less than 10 mins of screen-off standby.
