Hi, i had also some issues with Fr14, it froze on me a couple of times. I have a game called Braketheblocks on it and it crashed the phone frequently, sometimes after a while it unfroze sometimes not. I don't have any other game on my phone so i don't know i it is a general issue. I converted back to Fr13 and the problem is gone.

similar issue happen when viewing some flash content in stock browser.

the phone completely frozen for around 10sec. sometimes android would let me terminate the not responsive process. and sometimes the only solution is to pull the battery.

revert to Fr13 and no such issue now.

in order to do a control experiment, flashed Fr14 and installed a oc kernel.

See if the problem is cause by the new kernel of Fr14.

I havent tried Fr14, therefore I am not too sure whether 'MoreLocales' works or not.

But one thing I am sure that from Fr1 to Fr12 it does have traditional chinese language in it.

The same problem bere. It froze a couple of time, not while playing a game but while browsing internet or waking up from standby.

Did you whipe before install... Not whiping seems to cause all sorts of problems.

Anyway i have lost about 9% in 8 houers... So no drain here.

I also have the super battery drain since FR14,

Can i wipe now? a long time after installing the rom? or must i wipe then re-flash the fr14 rom?

My LG does the first already. I just make the contacts with the names I want, and then link them with their Facebook/Twitter manually and they actually keep the "name" I have given them. So I dont know why you want another contacts app when the LG O2X does what you want already out of the box.

And if you dont like twitter then why not simply uninstall SNS and then install facebook on its own?

I wouldn't be asking for it if my O2X lets me link manully, it lets me add websites to my contacts but not social id.

And when I uninstall sns n install just a normal facebook app, it doesn't let me upload pictures through my gallery. I don't know if I'm missing something on my phone. How did u link your contacts and their fb together?

I open the contacts app on the LG and then open the contact I want to link. Hit menu and select "Edit". Then I hit menu again and I get the option to "Join". If you click that one you can select what facebook to link that contact to. Just remember to click save when you return from the "joining" or it wont get saved.

AND regarding facebook:

Apparently the facebook app doesn't allow you to upload more then one picture at a time sadly. So if you mark more then one picture in your gallery then it dissapears as a sharing option...

Hmm, I rebaked and reflashed a Fr14, this time I didn't have the text problem (flashed the other zip a couple of times, so it wasn't just that). However, Fr14 seems to enjoy the taste of battery juice a lot more than Fr12 did... Also I woke up to my phone frozen after trying to charge it overnight, I had to pull the battery to get it back on (oh, and it wasn't charged). So it seems like Fr14 needs some work, though apart from my wining about it I have to say: Paul you rock, and keep up the good work :mellow:!

oh snap CM7 nightly is out

i tryed the cm7 out and its very nice. Just restoring backup of FR13 to refresh my titan backups then i go to CM7 and test some things which are not working or not so good in Pauls rom.

one thing is allready working again for me with CM7: Web Market shows my device again!

Oh...my...god. Using CM7, *this* feels like the phone I though I bought. If Paul could use this as a base for MoDaCo, we'd get the best of both worlds.

Warning to the general end-user though, it's still quite buggy. I've had to pull the battery twice already. But even in it's current state, there's no way I'm going back to stock. Ever.

(The CM-servers seem to be down at the moment, I grabbed a nightly last night.)

Not much problem with FR14, though a lil' annoying feature : for the past two days, I plugged the phone for charging at night and when the morning comes, on both days, the phone is powered off and I have to pull the battery off to start it...Of course, you can imagine what happened to the alarm ;-)

Strange, isn't it ?

Overall, that's a smooth rom Paul cooked here. Thank you, anyway.

Got the same problem since I went from f12 to f14. I've also been experiencing major lag when browsing (stock browser), and a couple of freezes the past 2 days. Overall the phone also feels slower than before, and I got the feeling that it's the rom, but Im not sure.

Changes from f12bake and f14 bake :

Only google calendar, previously had both

Only latinime and gingerbread keyboard. Had all before.

No vanilla themes

No Google music app, only LG

No LG email app, only Google

I was also experiencing the phone not responding at the morning after a night of charging - I reflashed FR14 without the option to disable battery-full popup, today in the morning everything was ok.

When I rebooted after my freeze the battery was at 32% though (I plugged it in at about 20%), so it might not be related to that popup...

In my case it's not depending...
