I have a couple of small tweaks for the next release, but it would be better if we could get the G2X Gingerbread release working on our devices... I have a build that works fully EXCEPT for the RIL... which is a bit of an issue (i.e. no mobile network connection!) :mellow:

That is fair enough.

It seems like there isn't much more space left to push the envelope :D

You did a grate job on this device. if it wasn't for you I would have sent it back to the dealer.

But now it works just grate.

I use the HDMI allot to play video and games. its a very nice toy, i just wish it had 1g RAM on a dual channel, that is the only thing that is missing for my full satisfaction :mellow:

That's great news that froyo looks accomplished. Also wouldn't the radio from radio from cm7 nightly fix the problem? I'm sure someone at cyan can give pointers?

Also I take it that fr15 is good enough to see a prebake now?

Critical Fr15 update - please do 'adb shell mount' or 'mount' from a shell (e.g. connectbot) on the device... if you are showing 'EXT3' instead of 'EXT4' for your /system or /data mounts (likely only people who switched from stock to MCR at FR13/14/15, please re-download and re-install.

I can reliably confirm that European carriers don't even have it for testing. Further more, contacts at LG Europe don't even have it according to my source that I consider 100% reliable.

Man this Fr15 release is fantastic! The overall speed and response is greatly improved. Well done Paul! :mellow:

Edit: Something that has been bothering me since I got the phone is the lag when drawing the lock pattern. Sometimes it's quick to respond, but I usually have to wait a couple of seconds for it to come to its senses and register my input. I have turned off all haptic feedback and visual pattern. It's only showing red circles if I draw it incorrectly. I always draw it correctly and 98,4 % of the time it doesn't register one or two circles. Yes, I pulled that number out of you know where, but it is a nice indication of the level of annoyance. Any way you can remedy this, Paul?

Yeah, that's good. Only if it says 'ext3' instead of 'ext4' do you need to re-apply.

I would really love for them, to show a preview of some kind, so we can get an idea, that it's worth the wait. I really think that LG has screwed themselves, by releasing a phone with such poor software, and then ppl have to wait so long for an update. Just happy we got someone like Paul, to give us full potentiale of our phone.

And must say that Fr15 runs like a dream, so thank you very much :mellow:

Sadly it seems, that in their stride to be the first to release a dual core phone LG has actually cut some corners. All in all not really a surprise, but I guess they are hoping on making up for it with 10 Charlie, as well as Gingerbread. Well heres to hoping it will be better :o

But if LG doesnt manage to own up to then I guess it just backs my decision to get the SGSII even more when my contract is up for renewal in mid september....

Fr15 is working well for me, thanks Paul.

It seems about as smooth to me as Fr10 which I've been using since release (although it benches ~7% lower than Fr10). Unfortunately the "LG lag" is still there when I compare it to a stock Nexus.

I am having a problem with YouTube, no videos play - "There was a problem playing - Touch to retry" - anybody else?
